Just bought a p1sc procharger. My current cam is 237/242 .600 Is this too big? If so what would be a better one to run?

Well the motor is coming out to do some other things and I figured that would be the best time and easiest to swap the cam. I will have to do some more reading.

If you are pulling the motor, then that is a great time for a cam swap. It is pointless to comment on the current cam without knowing more details of your setup.

Car has Longtubes, Ory and hooker CB.
Moser 12 bolt with 3.73's
237/242 .600 lunati cam.
Double valve springs.
Thats about it.
Some motor work is being done to support the Procharger. Making it stronger.

Just bought P1SC procharger. 8 rib setup.

Only looking for 550-600 ponies.

Thanks! If the lsa of your cam is a 112 with your lift and duration are, you would be better off with a more blower friendly cam. That P-1SC would have to be spun really hard to make up for a cam that bleeds off a lot of boost. Bob
