02 Camaro SS SBE LS1, CNC Ported 317, 230/230 .609/.609 115+2 Cam, LS6 Intake w/ ported TB, 80 lb. injectors w/ dual 255's on a stock fuel system, Turbonetics Cast T7875 turbo making about 12-13 lbs. of boost on pump gas no meth.
Car had 83,xxx miles on it when started and now has 91,xxx so I'd say about 6,000 miles on current power level.
689whp / 672tq through the T56 and Moser 12 bolt.
Runs lean at WOT when I take the air filter off so I'm hoping with a little more fuel and air to eclipse 700whp on pump swill.
Been running for three years now with lots of street racing. (knocks on wood)
1999 z28 m6. All stock internals never cracked open (except for new gaskets). I finally got the procharger install wrapped up, running ~6psi with 404whp (mustang dyno) on the very stock 145k mile LS1. It seems to be pulling strong, but if it seems fine next spring it's getting a blower cam, springs and a little bit smaller pulley.
Edit: clarification on gaskets, we changed valve cover gaskets, oil pan, front cover and rear main seal. Head gaskets are still factory.
Edit #2: for 2019 we turned up boost and retuned, only additions were an LS6 intake and a catch can. Now at ~9psi and 476whp (mustang dyno) still unopened block and stock headgaskets/bolts.

btr stage 1 turbo cam only stock ls3 made 905whp recently on 19psi dyno pull pt8847 turbo 12* timing e85 (couple days later sucked something into the pt8847 and broke compressor wheel blades)
First time at the track went 10.5@143.8 1.9 60ft. with on3 88mm turbo 17psi 12* timing e85 (3900lb gen5 camaro stick shift car)
original ls3 motor from 2013 been on boost 3.5 years, cam only stock ls3 heads never been off it
Wow this tread haws been going on for years!!! But it has a ton of usable info.
So here is my two cents,Vortec Procharged LQ9 6.0 stock bottom, Trick flow heads, Stage 3 blower cam, LS6 intake, Meth injected, boost level 17 pounds, timing is pulled out to keep it from poppping dynoed wrhp 600, stage 5 trans and axles with 3600 stall. All in my 98 C5 street driven and 1/8 mile passes.
Thank you sir!
I've had a couple people ask me how long its been that way because I'm on borrowed time lol.
I've got a Gen IV LM7 getting ready to drop in then we'll max this little 7875 out and see where it stops making power.
I don't think I have posted my numbers yet. So here it goes. I made 645hp, 507tq on 9# of boost, on a D1X Procharger and has a very safe tune with a Snow Performance Stage 2 Water and Methanol injection. I have driven over a year and have had zero problems.
I guess it would be silly but I would like to see someone go for just forged pistons and see how much power they could make.I'm still surprized you don't hear on any broken stock rod bolts and yet a lot of people think it's critical to replace them.I think the tune is the most critical part in keeping a stocker alive.
You're right, tune is the most critical part. If guys can make a stock bottom end LC2, the 3.8L v6 found in the Grand National and T-Types, live at around or slightly above 600whp then the gen. 3 and 4 LS should be able to do it without issue. Guy by the name of Gaby Rojas ran his best time of 9.20 on a stock bottom end Grand National. The 109 block, is an off center 2 bolt main block, with very thin main bulkheads, no real reinforcing webbing and then deck isn't thick compared to an LS. Brian Bisonette made 9.40 after 9.40 run on a stock bottom end in 3300lbs car with him in it, He was of course running an aftermarket ECM, along with a Precision 67/66 turbo. He has his own business and it grew to the point he could no longer mess around with his own cars. The CR on his motor was 8.3:1 and he ran 93 with methanol injection. So tune makes a really big deal. Especially when I read guys on here saying the might LS, even with a stock bottom end, could leave at less than 500whp that tells me there was an issue with stock block or their tune was subpar. The fastest stock block Grand Nationals only run 5 tenths faster than the 9.20. However these blocks have all forged internals, engine girdle and are probably filled although they are not stroked. I would expect a well tuned stock bottom end LS with boost to live to at least 700whp.
