I would sure like to have a spare ready to go just incase.

Thanks
I think it was a 91 S15 blazer. Can't remember. I have found them online for about $25 buck +$8, but I haven't had anymore issues so I haven't purchased any of them etc...

Been there done that.

The problem doesn't lie with the design of the SDCE set up, but with the end user torquing the **** out of it and cracking the tensioners thin aluminum housing.
I agree, if you try to tighten or loosen that nut that holds the idler pulley on with the tensioner on the car you are going to break it.

Anything will break if you try hard enough..

How long have you had the sdce on your car? How long does your belts last and what boost are you running? How much power? I cant decide between a F1A with SDCE running 14psi maybe 825+rwhp or a APS kit or a single turbo kit. I just want to make 825+rwhp on a DD street car with out any problems.

Four years, I put a belt on it once a year just for the heck of it, never really 'needed' one.

I made 800 through an auto with an F1A/SDCE with a mild engine, the SDCE was the least of my problems and concerns with my car but I was at the end of its practical capabilities I think.

Been there done that. I drove the car for a few weeks without the s/c belt and the car was very quiet compared to the mondo/procharger wind tunnel.

never changed the belt when I had it either, just set it and forget it to tell you the truth.

I ran a 11.10@124 with a DA of 7000+ with a car that was basically full weight.

OH the sound of a D1 and a MONDO BYPASS valve was too cool. I can only imagine what a louder F1 and a MONDO would sound like
