Procharger crank and crank pinning questions?
Alright I just got my new procharger tonight and I have a few questions. I purchased the crank pinning kit but it didn't come with any instructions so Im trying to get some if you can help. My next question is can I use my powerbond underdrive pulley with the 8 rib ati crank pulley or do I have to purchase the super dampner? With the pinning of the crank, how far do I have to drill into the crank? Does the metal ring go on before my underdrive pulley or after and which way does it go on? Flat side towards the engine or the other side? Thanks guys for your help. I really hope some of the sponsors or someone that really knows what they are doing responds.

with the 8 rib deal you need the super dampener. thats what the pulley bolts to. As far as the crank pinning goes, its just a jig, put the balancer on, bolt the jig up, drill into the crank and the hub, then you stick the dowel pin in the hole. the pinning is the last thing you do

So your saying that you put the pulley on, then put the ring spacer thing on,
then drill into the crank and what? You said something about hub but im not really following you. Thanks for the help

ok, lets see if i can explain it, put the balancer on. then you put the big silver washer looking thing on. It has a 1/4 inch hole thats halfway on the crank snout and halfway on the balancer hub. you drill just deep enough for the pin to fit all the way in the crank, should be about 3/4 inch (depends on the length of the pin you have). The pin stops the balancer from spinning on the crank.
