i agree its his car and his decision... this whole thing started when i said "put some 3.73's" in that thing and get a good number... he replied with " been there done that car is faster with 2.75".

what he left out is the car is faster cause it 60's so bad that it dead hooks! with the 2.75 gear.

im not gonna type in big letters but i'll get my point across.

we had an sts car, stock sts system! stock sts turbo (upgraded from them 74mm i think) and 3.73 gear.

car 60'd in the 1.3's and went much faster then zombie! how about that for a point?

like anything in life you can guide someone in a direction but in the end its souly up to the person to take that advice. Everyone has a reason as they do their things, it may not make sense to Joe Smoe or Jane Doe but makes sense to that person. So Zombie going do his thing and the rest of the world going do their thing. In the end some ppl may copy Zombie and others will follow you

but will say the debate about gearing and boost is very benefical to everyone. I like reading it as I have my theorys also on boost and gear. Example 4700 lb truck, 488s 30" tall tire, 6spd and 88mm...laggy you speak of? sorta but it like driving a big cam car. power range is 4500 to 7300 where i shift.

HO LEE SHEIT!!!!!!!!

FantaZ LOL set the example and quit clouding up this guys thread, who gives a sheit if you guys have done it better and faster. Zombie is getting things done his own way, is it unorthodox, yep can it be done better.... yeah probably and there is the rub, you gave your advice and posted your vids now be done with it and move on. Zombie, quit responding to the chicago crew or they might get more local guys up here and say mean things to you.

For ***** sake tell the guy good job.... for the altitude he runs at and the lack of track prep, and rear mount and i'd say his car gets down pretty good.

Jer, New Mexico Forced Induction Mod..........

Good job Zombie. The price you pay for helping other people out by posting useful info about your combo and real world resultes is you get a bunch of people doing the "could of", "would of" and "should of". If it's doing what you want, then keep on doing what you do.

Hey now, you can't leave us all out of that kind of entertainment. Someone that slow with a T6 on race gas should not escape the wrath of the mob. Oppss... I mean "formerly that slow".

Meh T6 to your T4, big difference. Luckily I still went quicker and faster than you. Keep that pile so I'll be motivated to build another car to race you some day.

Zombie you're the freakin man! I've always thought your car/setup is badass and a force to be reckoned with - considering you're way up in BFE altitude New Mexico, workin with a buttmount turbo and you managed to keep that tranny from grenading torque converters left and right! You got my props dude, I'd love to see what that street beast runs at a good track up north somewhere in some good DA

Wow, he would be at a huge disadvatage here.... He is one guy, not a shop, does his own tuning, again not a shop. Has to use his own money to get there to race at a properly preped track and good air.... He should get something out of it for going at least... What time would he need to be at with his current setup to impress?

Yup, you race on 104 so you got your gas at the same pump that I did.

whow whow whow! my car is not shop owned or funded.

it is tuned by Jim at speed inc (INTMD8) so i will not say i tune it my self .

so you are wrong there. every penny in that car is out of my pocket.

His car is impressive, i've never once tried to bash his car. simply stated that it would be faster with a diffrent gear and thats how we started.

but if you guys are serious about coming up here this is what i'll do. if you guys come up here or willing to meet at a track in the middle of us. you guys got the move for 2k or better.
