Default Question on APS power output in 2 different cars

Looking at their website a T/A with full exhaust at 7 PSI of boost is making 500 to the rears.

While a C5 Z06 is making almost 600 and it has stock exhaust.

I know it's an LS6 engine in it. But would a set of heads, and an LS6 intake bump up my number THAT much in my LS1?

Looking at both kits, I can point out a few differences. The ls1 has 80k miles, no mileage stated on the vette. Also their vette intake setup looks much more free flowing than the F-body setup with the merge up top to the throttle body. That combined with the heads/intake/slightly more agressive cam in the ls6 would probably give the gains you're seeing.

That engine was pooched and their dyno is not dynojet and reads likely 20 % or something lower than a dynojet. There are lots of dynos on this forum if you search.
But also the better flowing your heads and cam and exhaust and all that are, the more power you will make at lower boost levels.

I believe its a dyno dynamics- the OP isn't asking about absolute power, but power relative to one another. They were done on the same dyno, so they should be consistent with each other.

And yes, a better flowing exhaust and intake setup in a turbo car is going to make a world of difference. True duals for teh win =)

I'll be very interested to hear how that goes. WHat parts did you use and how much was the cost? ? I am contemplating the build up of a 6.0 forged as well

Thanks Guys!

Here is a vette with similar engine mods to me..same cam and same heads I have.
Some numbers..
e beauty about turbos is that you can adjust the Hp with a touch of a button on the eboost2 controller.

I have the car tuned by one of the best tuners in the country.

here are the Hp setting:

1.606rwhp -640trq - 7.6 psi. 91 pump gas ( my wife drives the car with no problems

2.656rwhp -670trq 9.0 psi

3.707rwhp -773trq 11.6psi

4.736rwhp -812trq 13. psi

car makes 735rwhp(over 840 HP at the crank) on 13psi 812rwtrq(over 900 TRQ at the crank) ..car is a beast. will do the 1/4 LOW 10'S AND over 138+ mph.

condition is 8.5 /10 (its an 2002)
