Default Cam opinion on Procharger setup

I am planning on going to a P1SC or D1SC. But I want a cam that will work with both NA fairly well and work with Boost. This is the cam I'm considering.

I will be running a set of LS1 heads with mild port work and slightly bigger valves, at close to stock compression.

Another thing... What LSA would I want?

I'm going for a ~600+ whp.

Another cam that I would recommend is the Futral F7. 224/230 114+4. I forget the lift. But I have seen some decent numbers N/A with that cam and great numbers with a blower. I plan to run this with my setup with a P1SC.

Something to keep in mind. If your looking for 600+rwhp you will need to forged the bottm end (pistons/rods).

I run a Comp XER281HR 224/230, .581/.592, 114

I make 588rwhp on a SD tune, 6.0L heads, and some other ****. Stock bottom end.

Street car or track? I'd say 224/228 114LSA cam is the biggest I would go. It would sound choppy and drive great. You need the low end torque to get you out of the hole. Let the supercharger take over after 3000rpms. Too many people over cam their cars for peak power and I just don't get it. You can easily make 600+rwhp with a stock cam so think about it that way.

Thunder racing's 230/236 cam made 400RWHP/365RWTQ for me with stock heads NA and 650RWHP/565RWTQ at 14psi without meth (no changes to the motor from NA). Can't argue with those numbers. PM me if you want more details on the setup.

Definitely 114 LSA. If you are set on that cam, I would call them to see if you could get it in a 115 or even a 116 LSA. On a stock CID motor, that is going to lope pretty good because of the large durations. That cam and a D1 should be pretty easy to break the 600 rwhp barrier.

You need to call Bob at Exotic Performance Plus and he will be glad to give you the best advice on a cam selection.

I'll start by saying I don't know my *** from a hole in the ground about forced induction. but I'm going w/ a F1-C and I'm running the G5X3 (not sure of the grind 23x/24x i think) with a .510 lift on a 114 lsa, I've been told it will work great.

BUT.... be warned by my first sentence!

For 600rwhp we run a small 220/224 Cam with P1's.
