What are they gapping them to? better check that before you curse the pug brand. they might have them too wide for the turbo or maybe even to tight. check that out and I bet you find the problem. they might even be screwing them up while they are instaling them.

I am interested in going turbo, but I wanna do it right What C/R do you guys think my car should run? 9.5?

Well it turns out it was the plugs. They pulled them and put in the Autolites and all the misfires went away. The NGK's were gaped at .035 same with the autolites. I had a conversation with Ed Wrights assistant on this subject since there was so much controversy. He told me they get cars in all the time with NGK's They work well for NA cars but not turboed LS1s. He said they got a car with NGK's on once and it was completely untunnable. He switched the plugs to Autolites and everything worked perfectly. Anyway, I have the car now and it is awesome.

One more thing. The sleeves that were put on the wires are flame retardant fiber glass sleeves. They are not steel ones so they should not trap heat in.

Interesting info about the plugs. I'll keep that info tucked away for the future. Congrats on the car, you're gonna love it. Being able to blow off on people adds about 20hp anyway. lol.

I agree, I was fighting a miss problem all summer that I ended up pulling timing to cure (even thought there was no spark knock registering). I had TR6's in there too. hmmm.....
