D1SC with 3.2 pulley, what boost at 3000 rpm and 4000 rpm?

Please explain this reasoning.
I would always take a more efficent motor over a less efficent one. Boost is just a restriction of a given motor. The motor that made 700hp at 10lbs is way more efficent than one doing it at 20lbs. You'll probably get away with better IAT's, doing it on pump gas, less strain on parts, etc.

Thanks, actually towards the end of the writeup it says the D1 is clearly maxed out & the car needs a F1. It also made 750hp as it is.

It depends on how much horsepower you are looking to make. Once you start maxing out a blower, the inlet air temps are going to rise. If you were to buy a different head unit for that larger engine, I would go with an F-1C if you're looking for a lot of boost. Bob
