Make sure to get a new belt before ya do your experiment man. Once a belt has been slipping really bad, its almost impossible to get it to ever grip again right unfortunately

Got 2 on standby . I'll definitely be swapping it out. I've prob. gone through 5 belts and I hardly drive the car!

Just put and SDCE on it and forget about it, belts last for years, not weeks - and it doesnt slip. You are really spinning that D1SC pretty hard with the regular 8 rib, you could always try a reichard blower pulley but I would just do an SDCE and get it over with..

Hmmm. I am using the 3.55 pulley right now and I saw belt slip at 5800rpms on the dyno. I put a new belt on, but I havent really payed attention to the boost gauge lol. Is there any certain way to "break" in the belt when you put it on for the first time before tightening the **** out of it?
