Actually the stock manifolds work better for the rear mount. I put down 600 rwhp with less the 10 lbs of boost on my TA and Im running stock man... And abou the guy throwing a "BOOO" for you wanting to use the rear mount, man, its your ride, and your money. You do whatever you want bra. Im VERY HAPPY with my rear mount.

Oh god... look guys... not to bang on you here but unless you have some experience with the setup he is asking about. Dont chime in... you just set him up for failure.
DO NOT USE LT's for a rear-mount setup!!! I have stock manifolds (minor porting) on mine... and its the fastest rear-mount F-bod I know of. The only other one that is as fast as mine (maybe faster) is Zombie and 1320's setups.
I am 99% sure ALL of us are running stock manifolds... All of us are running 10flat - mid 9 sec setups...
As for the truck manifolds.. I am not sure, I have wondered that myself... but if I recall there is something about the clearances going back that cause problems.

it has to deal with the backpressure also the diameter of them. someone used the blowing through a straw and something bigger than a straw for an example of pushing air to spool the turbo. also aftermarket headers disperse heat a lot more if you search around you will see almost everyone using exhaust wrap to keep the hotside as hot as possible for the rear mounts.

Not back pressure... temp. Longtubes have something like 4x the surface volume vs: manifolds. The more surface volume the more heat loss... for a rear-mount it is critical that you retain as much heat as possible all the way back to the turbo. It has to to with volume of the air based upon its density... cooler air is more dense thus has less volume.

I have a 408 with a GT-76 rearmount turbo with slp lontubes and it lags pretty bad. It is going up to Speed Inc next month toget them swapped out to manifolds and a y pipe. If anyone has any stockers laying around and wants to get rid of them, pm me. Also I have heard that 01-02 manifolds flow a little better but I'm not sure if that's true.
