This is some crappy pics from a while ago. Solid Spohn motor mounts, PA k member, and 5" just barely fits.

Have you ever thought of replacing the stock oil pan! Unless you have made some modifications to the pickup tube and the pan, it would be a good suggestion to get a aftermarket pan.

Wow, amazing time. What's it feel like going 150+ in a 1/4 mile?

Interesting, I don't really know at what point that is needed, I plan on doing a LSX dry sump next.

LOL, I have gotten some flak for that before. Car is a hardtop with 10 point cage, but I do agree some SFC's are in order. I just have not put them on yet.

Truthfully, it is not what I expected, carrying the front tires and the 1.3 60ft's are pretty exciting, but the rest of the run is ho-hum. I really thought an 8 sec pass would have been more thrilling! I guess I need to get a funny car.
At this level, I treat it as all business though. Staging and launch techniques and having all the safety stuff, and being strapped into the car has become routine.

Turbo cars are pretty boring to drive sometimes...even at 170mph is was pretty ho-hum

Love the wheels up pics - VERY impressive for a "street car"!!!!

Congrats on getting into Pinks All Out! Too bad you didn't get to compete. They are coming to Seattle & I didn't even get in - they opened registration the morning I was flying to New York. But they don't usually pic the 9 sec class so....but it must be kick-*** to be there! I'm jealous!!!

Which QTPs are you running - 12.5 x 28? They look like they hooked, and I'm trying to figure out which ones to buy.

They are the 325-50-15 Hoosier-daddy drag radials. I am sold on these things, they are awesome.

The deck on the L92s is SO thin, you will be replacing gaskets until it wont hold anymore. The heads do have a life cycle on them, fresh heads will do wonders to keep it from pushing, but the time intervals on swapping head gaskets will get shorter and shorter until you replace them with new.

Nothing you can do but upgrade to a 6 bolt or thick deck 4 bolt, or keep wrenching on it every so often.

The L92s are possibly showing their limitations for us now too. I'll have more info in a day or so, we're putting another one on it but as of right now the headgaskets are no longer an issue for us. We went 5.54 on 4/4 with them, the next pass it stood up as you can see in the avatar. We hurt it testing sunday evening though. We're doing what we can with what we've got.

Thanks for down under the car pics. 2nd one is very clear. Your DP is on passenger side mine is going on driver side. Not sure if it's better or worse for fitting 5" DP.

Is it the Solid Spohn motor mounts, PA k member or both that helped you fit 5" DP. Do you have stock power steering or manual?

Does the PA k memebr have more clearence than std BMR K-memebr?

If I switch from stock motor mounts to soild mounts with my std BMR k-member, do you think 4" DP will fit?
