Were your dyno numbers with the filter installed? I'd think that would be a big restriction at higher boost. When I was running the flow numbers for a filter for mine it was going to be super huge to keep up.

So, it's 6.5" long filter. It looks a 10" long filter will not fit with S91 on OFI kit even if the battery is relocated because the turbo sets low, unless the battery location is cut for the filter top.

I wanted to buy filter but can't make measurements before starting the install.

the turbo does sit pretty low on the setup,u can always do as u say and use the stock battery location and cut it out.with that extra weight of the turbo up front u are going to want to relocate the battery anyways.are u using the 4" downpipe setup?

Yes I got it with 4" downpipe but not sure if it will fit above my standard BMR k-memebr. Might end up cutting it to dump under hood or cut before k-member and fabricate 4" to 3.5 or 3" reduced extension to sqeeze through the k-memeber.

Power steering. Might switch to manual after I get lighter 4" front wheels if that will help with downpipe install but no way I am going to switch K-members for just 4" downpipe.

the problem with the power steering is that the headers build a lot of heat and they run very close to the power steering reservoir and if u drive for a long period of time it gets hot

Nasty fuel system with external fuel pump, regulator, AN feed and return lines and bungs for stock tank and racetronix 79Ib injectors. AIS in-trunk methanol injection kit.
Transmission is RPM level IV 4L60E with 3-disc 3200 TQ. Not ideal but I had it for NA setup but switched to turbo. So, I think I can test the waters with what I have and try a good tuner. I know that it's not the optimum setup but got to give me credit for trying FI.
I am checking option for future build LQ9 408 or LSX/6 bolt heads and TH400. FAST XFI, Accel DFI or Big Stuff3.
Still in the to do list; rear end, wheels/tires and roll cage. Might leave all of these until it rolls off the dyno tuned.
