Noyz, your MORE than welcome to come down to albany and spend some hours here and install my new wastegates on your system to see if that is the problem. Same bolt pattern etc so it should be a relatively quick swap...I however do not have a lift in my garage for at least 3 more weeks (on order). Let me know and we can work on a schedule..Im pretty free this weekend.

JAM,,,, That was great info. I might just scrap my Aplied tech gates and get tial. I have a tial BOV so I might just try it out. Thanks alot.
I did find 4 bad plug wires so this should help to.

Also, Can I bypass my Boost controler and run just off the waist gates alone? To do this I have to connect my hose from the waist gates (that went to the controler) to the hose that gose to my intake(this hose went to the other side of the controler) Correct? I already did this and drove the car, It only made 5 psi, But seemed to hold it. But the car felt like **** (due to plugs and wires) so I put it away. I should be able to adjust my spring press and make my 8 psi correct.
Thanks for all the help.
Brad, FWIW. I have no boost controller and hold 11psi with no issues. Pretty sure we have the same gates, just mounted different. Mine point straight down and yours run horizontal, correct. 86 the boost controller and back the springs off all the way and see what psi you make. There are no instructions for this kit, I live 5 min from CAS and he never made install instructions. Angelo

I also have springs rated for 8psi in each gate, and see 11psi on my 9/1 engine.

Jam, I realy appreciat that. I was hoping to get the car going this weekend to go to e-town to race, but if it aint running, I wont be racing, but still might go with a couple friends who are racing. If plans for that change i will let you know. Also, I spent another 2:00 am working night and replaced every hose in the system, all the turbo,IC,Couplings, the whole 9 is new. also found a couple loose hose clamps on the intake side. I will be driving the car in about 20 min so i will let you know if this worked. All the hoses did hold press, i tryed that, so i dont think it is the issue.
The ic looks fine, but i havent ruled it out.
ADEE, I have different gates, you have a custom gate, mix of tail and applied tech, I talked to tony about it. I have 10 psi springs so the car should make no less then 8 psi. this happens however. it hits 8 psi then goes right to 3.
The only things left are IC,waiste gates and BOV. worst might be the turbo. I'll let you know if all my work was a waist or not.
Jam, one more thing, my car and me will be your install instructions. I will help out, and I will throw my car on the trailor and bring it with me so you can take pics and make yours easy.
What are you waiting for and from who?

Well, unfortinatly, it started sprinkling out, but i did get a couple blasts.
First time out, I jumped on it in first. I lost steering for a few seconds and the car pulled like a raped ape, like it never pulled befor, I could not even steer the car, I looked at the boost gage and 15psi!!!!!!!!!!!!
So i tryed it a couple more times, just to see what happened. It seemed to hold the boost, but i didnt have much room to stay in it threw more then 2nd gear.
So I came home and cranked the waist gates out a bit, took it back out, and tried again. car seemed to pull great, and held 11 psi 1st and most of 2nd, But it was sprinkling a bit, so I just got home and im going out a little more with the waist gates to try to get back to 8-9psi. lode it up and head out tommorrow.
I'll let you know how i make out in E-town on sat!

Noyz...sweet...15 psi on stock bottom....keep it together man!!!!
You are my instruction booklet from everything Igather...thanks A DEE O for that info.
Noyz, I am waiting for the most important two peices to show up...I'll tell you the story when we talk. Either way, they should be here in less than a week.
I am going to take you up on your offer to trailer over when were ready. Block needs to arrive, pistons need to arrive etc. Once they do allow 2 weeks at the machine shop so I anticipate...with added delays...it will be six more weeks at best...I'm used to waiting twice as long as told. I will do my best to keep you out of the snow...good thing is all work will be done in a heated warehouse with a lift..and room for a few cars. Final tune and perhaps Gen7 install will obviously end up at one of the shops as we talked about before. Honestly, without the ability to see your set-up this would be ...well ...I dont want to think about it...In fact, until I see yours, Im not sure every part is even here. I will porb call Tony, he's always been great...even outstanding when we connect.
best O' luck this weekend..if weather looks good...I may stop down..if I do, I'll find ya.

I dont know what it was for sure, do to rain i couldnt do one thing at a time, I did it all at once.
No garrenties it is fix yet. i didnt have time to do a full 1/4 mile pass, i only did 1st and 2nd so i hope it works.
15psi was crazy, but i backed it down to 12, then backed it again so it should be around 8-10. i'll find out on my first pass.
Jam, it will prob have to wait, if it will be 6 weeks, then i wont be able to bring the car, I put it away the 2nd week of december to start cleaning it for the world of wheels in jan, after that, Im all set to help out, and if its not snowing i'll give you a ride!

The weather looks great for sat. 46* sunny sky'
s!
Hope to see you there.
