going FIA need advise!
going FIA need advise! I am about to go forced air, what is a good heads and cam for FIA? I have9/18 springs, are they good enough? I have ls6 heads now but are milled down to 59cc so I dont think its going to work and my cam is 226/230 @112 lsa from what Im told I need to go with 114 lsa and up....let me know what you guys got and made some sweet power....Thanks!!
Sorry guys! I meant forced air induction, my goals are 650 to 700 hp so the f1a is a bit more than what I need...
Anyways what do you guys suggest on what cam and heads for Forced air, from what I have read it looks like 317 heads are pretty common

yea, get some 317 heads at least. You definitely need to be closer to the 9.0~9.5:1 compression range. A D1SC will get you into that power range, but thats suicide to attempt it on a stock bottom end man...

For a stock bottom end, I'd recommend a set of stock 317 or 035 heads (same thing), a double spring like patriot golds with hardened pushrods, and a comp SC2 cam from speed inc, or the blower cam EPP sells. Those combined with a D1 kit with the larger filter EPP sells and a good exhaust with headers should get you in the 500~550 range with a conservative tune at ~8psi. Don't get greedy with the boost. You may make the number you want with a lower boost# if you have a good exhaust. The stock pistons are good for a certain amount of HP, not any certain amount of boost pressure, so keep that in mind.

Oh, and while you are at it, head studs would be a good investment 
I'm going to run the stock heads and stock long block, ls6 springs and 60's with 110k on the d1, 4.5" pulley and fmic. I wouldnt recommend it but I don't feel like changing them at the moment. It should be fine with low timing and meth. I will switch to e85 once I get a second pump
