T04-based turbos-$1400
Spearco A/A intercooler-$700
header flanges-$50
T04, V-band & 2-bolt downpipe flanges(2 of each)-$130
small tubing (1.75" for primaries & wastegates)-$100
large tubing (2.5" & 3" for cold/hotside pipes)-$125
TiAL 38mm wastegates & flanges-$440 for both
TiAL 50mm BOV-$200
1/4" hardline, -3AN braided line and fittings for oil feed/return-$80
Silicone couplers(8 total)-$90
S/S t-bolt clamps-$100

About $3500 total and that's a low figure. I got everything except the TiAL stuff for dealer cost, so mark that up 20% for the normal schmoe. This setup will do 1200 w/o a problem though.

This doesn't include welding supplies, accessories that were moved/deleted, a new radiator core support that I fabbed up, the 4" VFN hood that was required, the enormous fuel system to back this bad bitch up or the EGT gauge from ARC.

$60 for hot side pipes? What material is that?

How's your clutch/tranny doing?

Red is right, clamps, brackets, bolts, and crap add up. With two of everything, you need a lot.

Dyno time, and LS1 edit (which is probably not up to the task).

42# will support 900 hp at about 100psi. You need bigger injectors. The pumps will cost a bit, and the lines are very borderline.

You may want to consider a gauge or two.

Not many shops would be able to do this, but hey, if you have the skills, the equipment, and the facility to do it, the number will start with a 5. Make that a 7 if you can't get the edit to work.

Wow, I want to know where you guys are getting your hot side parts, because I sure as hell could not find them that cheap.

I finally had mine custom fabricated after buying all the 1 3/4 U bends by my friend, who has a machine shop, and it still cost me almost $600 in parts and labor, this is not even counting intercooler piping.

Oh and mark is right on about edit and good luck finding a twin maf translator box!

I am going with a stand alone engine managment box which cost me more than you want to spend on your whole setup.

Ever considered doing a single instead of twin? Cheap and Twin Turbo do not go together very well.

EDIT : In your sig it says 11.5:1, you might calculate in the cost of lowering your compression ratio to something sane for F/I

lmao...........isnt a mandrel bending machine like $100k+.......i doubt your local shop has one.

they probably have a press-bend machine like all local shops do.......that is NOT mandrel, and it has a significant negative effect on air flow.

I was just making a statement of most mechanic shops charging an average of 30 bucks an hour. I kinda forgot that we are talking fabrication..... so I guess it does pretty much double it.

Wow, you guys are hard core on the doubt factor.
Some people actually know people and places to go to get things cheaper. He already posted he makes end tanks and gets some of the spearco stuff cheaper. I am sure he has an idea of where to get **** mandrel bent a little quicker, easier and cheaper than most us who dont network ourselves out through business associations. Labor the same way, have a friend, scratch my back I scratch yours!
As for the missing items, 90% of the missing items are already posted, lines, hoses, clamps, fittings, silicone couplers etc...and the fuel system, tuning and bottom end. I would only assume you edit or the likes for tuning if you have 11.5:1CR no one i know runs that without tuning. And since this is a transplant, I can solidify my belief that you do have tuning capability and have worked the fuel system out. But that part is up to you, as long as you know the requirements, I am sure you take care to address them. Drop CR, add fuel, tune, and missing parts. Are you over $2k, yep, but least your not someone with the $ sitting in your bank while someone else builds the **** for you. If it were in an F body, I would suugest reversed truck manifolds to save time, and money, but its not, not sure if the host has the room but a thought for you.

Good luck Aidan.

Phoenix57- Yes, Aidan swapped the 409ci LS1 into his C4 last year! I got that part, if its not the same swap, then it would always help to provide all the details (even when it is the same swap, as theres more than one person speculating now!). BLUF- If you want advice, guidance help etc...you need to be as specific as possible.

Aidan- Is this the same 409 Nitrous huffing swap into the C4 from last year? Provide more info please.

Thanks,

Charlie
