F1 Install: 370 CI Lq4
This is Operation Black hole..
My 98 Camaro Z28 A4 GU5 turned 2002 PCM / SS cloneish / 6 speed.
!Molding, Shaved camaro letters on rear, SS spoiler, 18's ZO6 motorsport, VFN Sunoco hood. Trans Am interior.
AEM wideband o2 POD, Cobalt Boost and Fuel PODS. Passenger side laptop stand W/ EFI Live.
The engine has MLS gaskets and wiseco 15cc dish pistons. Scat rods yada yada....
Compression is right around 9:1 @ 15 psi I should (Hope) make 700-750ish Hp
Lq4 truck Heads with some work to them. Comp custom grind cam. Fast92/92
F1 Procharger W/ Twin intercooler setup. 8 Rib upgrade. Pullied for 15 psi.
Currently trying to build my own 1000 hp Fuel system, And install A Meth kit
This is my daily driver when im not riding the Bike.
I can't wait to post some numbers up!!

I can talk you through most of it. Hint call Hint. I'll give you all of the updates.
The engine has MLS gaskets and wiseco 15cc dish pistons for 6.125 rods. Compression is right around 8.9-9:1 depending on the in / out of the hole measurements that I have no idea on.
For the fuel system I would run a -8 feed and a -6 return. 60lb injectors should get you there, but be some what close to max duty cycle depending on what fuel pressure you are running. 2 Walbro 255s should have you covered fuel pump wise. Mighty Mouse has a sticky in the fueling and injection section that details the install process. His write up is for a 98 too so its a bonus. Stock rails aren't adequate at that level. You'll definetly need different ones.
A really good option is using 1/2 inch steel tubing like Jason did on the mustang. It is right around the siz e of -8 line, but much cheaper.
Getting good at using EFI live yet?

I just did some number crunching. 60 lb injectors are good for about 709 hp at 80% duty cycle and .625 BSFC. That's crank hp. You could jack up the fuel pressure, but that strains the pumps. I would get these:http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...d&productId=19
At 58 psi, .625 bsfc, and 80% duty cycle they are good for 945 crank Hp. Those should fit your goals perfectly and they are priced pretty well to boot.

Some progress with the car. 12 hours of work, 2 Friends, LOTS of beer..and the procharger was installed...
My ls1 speed fuel rails cross threaded on install and leak fuel... So no startup video.
When the rest of my fuel lines and regulator come in ill be installing the fuel system and my car should be good to go for some dyno numbers!!

60's are pushing it for that much power. Here is what I would do (my setup basically):
Twin Walbro 255s in-tank
Acceleronics Driver Box (only if you're running low impedance injectors, they are just easier to tune and when you get up there in lb/hr they are more predictable)
75lb/hr Low Impedance Injectors
FAST Fuel Rails
Aeromotive Boost Referenced Regulator
Braided Return
Without meth, I would agree. But I am still on the twins and they seem to be making the power okay .

Im still clueless on who will do the final dyno tune out here. Who is the "big name" local tuner?
Id prefer to have someone experienced with EFI live do the tune.
