Default What makes the trim? Superchagers

I have a Vortech V1 head unit/ No comperssor wheel.
What makes the trim of the head unit. EI: A trim S trim t trim? The impeller, compressor wheel?
Where can I buy a compressor wheel for a Vortech V1 and a rebuild kit. Im not sure if it needs a rebuild but i might as well do it before it does need it.

Check your other post - I gave you someplace to try. Typically it is a combo of the wheel and volute (scroll housing) that defines the trim for a Vortech.

If the other contact can't help, Vortech may be your only source, and IIRC they will not sell you the parts, they will only rebuild the unit for you for $$$.

Thanks because your help I located one .
On all the v1 in the pics the outside housing is the same.
Only when you go to a v345678 do the outside housings change

No, the V-1/V-2 S and SC-trim housings are the same, but the E-trim and T-trim are each different. They might be the same casting but use a different mold insert to end up at different final dimensions.

Be careful or you might end up with non-working junk.
