Played with it both ways and was easier to package the unit in the nose as one piece. Basically, kept the single 3.50 outlet and the twin 2.50 inlet. Tank's in the hatch under the flip cover, pump's in the tank, hose's under the car.

Almost same setup as mine, IC is V-banded right to the compressor housing in the nose. Seems to work pretty good.

Back from the dead. JESUS Phil that viedo is nuts. What a difference.

Do you, and any other big HP A2W guys, think the rule 2000 will suffice for my 2000hp intercooler? Mounted in-tank, 12 volts, 1" lines? Or should I run the 3700?

I estimate 1400whp tops this season. Twin.......60s

Also, what is the common way to plumb these inside the tank? Kinda lame how the fitting on the pump is 1-1/8". Can a 1-1/8" hose be clamped onto a 1" barb fitting inside the tank Just trying to visualize how this thing hooks up to a 1" line that feeds the IC.

I'm running the 3700 and think that it is marginal at best for my 1000rwhp ( and I know many are running the smaller pumps with success). I had to argue with Robert to get the 3700....some thinks it's overkill...I think it's not much pump with any head against it. I would not thnink about a smaller Rule...they're cheap $.

I read your previous posts. So interesting IMO as it seems so many people run them. Are there any other options that aren't $300+????

What type of hose/fittings do you run from the 3700---> the edge of the tank? And what size lines do you run to your IC?

Hmmm. You must run a 1.5"--1.25" reducer fitting off the pump then eh? what do you attach the flex hose to inside the tank? do you just weld a round metal tube on the wall to clamp the hose on to? Pics? SOrry, just trying to visualize it.

I can tell you, I run the 3700, added a 2nd pump and made very little difference in IATs....

Over sized IC cores will have less effect from increased flow.

Onfire, I am stil trying to figure this out.......what type of adapter did you use on the pump to run a 1.25" flex line? I am reading everywhere that the 3700 has a 1.5" discharge? I have been looking for adapter fittings for them and can't find them anywhere. Where did you get yours?

I'm going to go with the 3700 gold series cause I found it for only $14X.00 on some website.

I ran a rule 2000 in my 5gal tank and a 1500hp I/C (Reichard Racing minicube). Ran -12 from the tank to I/C and -12 return. IATs never eclipsed 90F at 1600 fwhp.

So I got my 3700 today, and some 1.25" bilge flexhose I ordered with it. Here is a funny issue. The little "slip" sections on the hose every 12" is only big enough to slip INSIDE the outlet of the pump. I measured the hose and it is ~1.25". Do I need to order some 1.5" hose??? I could have swore all you guys said you were running 1.25" hose.

I went to home depot and got mine. I took a measuring tape, some measure outside, some inside.
