How much does temperature change HP on FI with meth?
I'm just wondering everyones thoughts on this? How much does outside temperature affect HP on a FI car with meth? On all my dyno runs, even after 12, my IAT's don't go over 105, and are usually about 80* on an 75-80* day. I'm assuming even when its 95* that they will be similar but I know air density changes. So say I'm making 770RWHP on an 80* day, how much would it be down on a 90-100* day if IAT's remained constant but ambient temps were closer to that 90-100*?
I know on a car without meth it is affected quite a bit but I don't know if that is mainly because of IAT's or air density?

I have no dyno numbers to back it up but I guess 5-10 hp because of the air. Meth may cool the charge but it may not as be as low on a hotter day. Plus on hotter humid days boosted cars tend to be a little fat on the afr add that in with the meth and it may not feel as fast as it should. A good way to tell is to see if its pulling timing due to heat. I did some testing today it was 97-100 degrees today and crusing I was seeing 90 degree intake temps and on the meth it was around 79-87 through the run. My car was tuned in 80+ degree weather so the only time i feel a differance in the the way it pulls if the temp was 75- degree or lower hope this provide some insight.

Well in temps below 75* I'm sure it will pick up quite a bit, it was tuned when it was 80*. I'm just wondering how much it will lose getting hotter. I was thinking like 50RWHP, which is fine, but if its anything like 100 I'll probably stay off beating on it. I bet in cool weather I'll pick up 50, maybe.
If its only 5-10 I'm not even sweating that. Anybody else have any input?

I think you will lose HP, but not due to the IATs alone, its probably more likely going to lose power because of the lower boost number you will experience on a hot day with less dense air. You know by now what a few psi can do to HP after removing the hat and filter on your last dyno session
