.68 ar or .96 ar??
im upgrading the crappy Chinese t61 that came with my turbo kit to a masterpower t70, only thing i was wondering was if a .96 ar hotside or a .68 ar hotside would be better. the rest of the car is stock except for walbro 255 fuel pump, 60# injectors, and mac exhaust with no cats, just curious to the advantages and disadvantages of going with the bigger turbo.

.96A/R......anything else would be a big backpressure problem. The turbine in that MP unit is already to small for a Ls based engine. No sense in handicapping the setup.

ya they are the same price for the .68 and .96 so i figured mine as well go big or go home right.. lol whats the advantages of having a 44mm wastegate? i have a 38mm.. i heard that smaller wastegates are better for controlling lower boost(i.e. 5-10) and bigger one better for bigger boost (i.e 15-20) i only want to run about 8-10 lbs so a 38mm should be good correct??

350rwh and 400rwt on a mustang dyno. but that was at about 4200rpm cuz then i lost boost and power, the turbo is to small and was a cheep shitty chinese one, at high rpms it back pressures back into the motor.. now im looking for a bigger turbo
