Default Good crank for supercharged application?

I may have to replace the crank in my motor, looking for some suggestions for a good quality crank for a supercharged application. The engine is a solid roller 408 CID LSX iron block motor with a Procharger F1R and A2W intercooler, Oliver rods, Wiseco boost pistons, Dart 205 heads, Super Victor intake, Accufab T/B and a big cam, can't remember the specs off the top of my head. Suggestions? TIA

Bryant is always a good option.Thats what is in my motor.I would just throw a callies dragon slayer in it though mark. They have been proven to hold 2k hp in LMR's old black car. To be honest that wasn't even a dragon slayer. It was the cheaper compstar crank that callies sells to compete with the eagle market.

The crank that is in it now is supposed to be a Callies crank but not sure which one. I've heard Bryant and LA Billet are both supposed to be good cranks also. Don't want to spend a mint on a new one but I want the best I can afford also. I'll have to look into the Dragon Slayer. Thanks Brian.

One of the key ways on the balancer hub was cut incorrectly, it was cut to deep. The rear of the hub split under boost and wobbled on the crank and bent the snout.

I think the most severe loads that the crank has to handle deals with high RPMs, not engine horsepower, right? Rod and crank loads at TDC and BDC go up exponentially with engine speed - that's why a super crank is required when you're turning Sprint Cup RPMs for 500+ mile races. I think the most relevant question to ask would not be what your power level goals are, but what max engine speed you plan to run.

From my understanding, even the entry level forged steel LSx cranks will hold up to the 1,000-1,5000 hp level - heck, people have made close to 1,000 hp on stock cast iron LSx cranks.

Before you go out and spend a fortune on one of the best cranks money can buy, make sure it is not overkill for your application. If you plan on shifting at 8,500 RPMs, then yea, that expensive crank might be for you. If not, maybe you can better use that money on a different part of your engine that will give you more HP for the dollar.
