Not sure, but I believe -Trust- ran at least 18lbs on his previous setup.

I have seen 21 lbs on a 2003 Mustang with a 4.6L Mod Motor. It put down something like 720RWHP.

Updated from previous post of 620/545 from 18 mo ago...

Upgraded to 3.4" blower pulley, LPA dual pump system, 96lb injectors, viper T56, MWC 9" 35 spline, and heavy steel driveshaft. Surprised how much the new drive train sucked down the power. This is with the ATI F-body inlet hat and a large filter.

ATI 4.5" Twins

The most amount of boost with what size engine? 6 rib, 8 rib, what?

Psi is only one part of the equation.

I was told by a ATI support person that an 8-rib D1 setup can spin the blower to around 59k RPM before it starts slipping. Running a smaller pulley like a 3.4 gives you boost quicker but may sacrifice some top end power.

If we had room for a 10-rib that would be better. Hell, an 8-rib width cog belt driven D1 would be killer. Going with a F1A helps with the bigger blower pulley, but still pushes the limits of what an 8-rib can do. Most of the kits ATI makes for the newer cars come with 10-rib blower belts.

ProCharger does not offer any kits with a 10 rib. 12 rib and cog kits are offered, but six and eight rib is still the standard. The D-1SC isn't designed to be used with a cog belt, the bearings aren't up to the added stress. This is why ProChargers cog kits start with the F-1 blower. Bob
