Default TurboD Lt1

Can some of you help me out I want to keep this simple at first.
Car will be stock everything.
What siize turbo would make the most hp at low boost levels . I dont really want to go higher than 10 psi.
So what turbo and what injectors.
I pretty much dont want to rev higher than 5k and want HP down low.
It has a t4 flange i belive.

maybe i'm wrong maybe i'm right, seems like he's looking for a starting point for something to build on.... i'm with him if that's what's playing in his head! set it and forget it so you don't abuse it too too much to save $$$$ to build better later down the road. i dont see any reason to throw 10psi+ to a bone stock LT1 for it to blow up... start same, build big!! if you have the $$ then blow the crap out of it! but like us me'ear mortals, we cant afford that..

i think it's easier to hook up an STS then having to deal with the all the other mods for an under the hood turbo mod..... just my .02... if what your looking for is a quick boost from a turbo that is... no manifold mods, no battery relocation, nothing under the hood changes, no fabbing.. . to each is his own, are you looking at doing the work your self or paying someone to install ?

So I should sell all this stuff I bought and go buy a Brand new STS kit and spend like 20x what i allready did? I dont think Ill do that.

So what do you think a good turbo for my set up would be ?

if you take the time to read what i wrote, i said to rev the car to 5700rpms. stock shift points. run a t67 and it wont have much lag.
i planned on running a stock engine with a catback turbo sys i build, with a t67, it wouldnt have alot of lag, but you dont want to shift at 5k?

+1 for reving it to the stock red-line. It's just silly to short-shift it. It's not a diesel or TBI motor.

T67 or MPT70 would be a decent choice.

I hope you do not go with a sts kit. that is weak , a joke and not worth the time . Turbos go under your hood not your a**

here is a guy that builds nice turbo kits . www.lt1boost.net . nice guy . Great guy from
www.theturboforums.com

He has kits starting at $1500-$6000. 550-1000rwhp . also you can make nice power at 5700 rpm . shoud be at full bost by then.

I have a s480 DIY kit on my car.

as far as the bottom end you can get 450rwhp out a lt1. But i would say upgrade to stock crank ,ohio crank h-beam rods and speed-pro dish pistons pistons (summitracing). should be good for a safe 560rwhp short block
