New aps lg upgrade pics
I can't believe I'm posting this, but my turbos got stolen over the weekend. I took the car apart Saturday and had the old ones out waiting to swap the fittings onto the new ones. It was the very LAST minutes of the shop being open so I had to clean up. I cleaned up everything and set the turbos side by side on the table. I was the last person besides the staff to leave the shop at 1628. I came in the next day at 0900 on the dot and all that was sitting there was the dud turbos. Apparently, somebody flew in the gate with 2 minutes till thy closed and snatched my ****, or somebody that works there took them. It's taken me 2 days to be able to work up the nerve to post up about this. An investigation is underway and I'm praying that Ft. Stewart with reimburse me. The biggest loss isn't the money, it's time. I have numerous field problems coming up and am deploying again in DEC. I'm still in shock about this. I spend $2800 and my car is still down.

. That **** happens to often there now it seems. Keep an eye on craigslist and put the word out around town and at the local speed shops. They should be easy to spot since they are damn near one of a kind. Good luck and I hope whoever did take them gets what they deserve!!!!

Just FYI, There's more than a few special markings on the wheels, and if they are ever dissassembled, there are more markings 
There are special markings on the Center cartridge, engravings on the back side of where the compressor wheel sits, and they are very easy to spot. The welded wastegate source on the compressor cover is another clue.

I hope the idiot who stole your turbos is caught and spends time for the offense. I hope it is not YOU who catches him as the temptation for some street justice is very high and likely to get the "judge" in trouble.
Whats with people this summer! I just had my brand new 2009 R1 stolen about a week ago and someone at my office just had an iPod touch stolen from thier desk.... I hope it all works out for you. damn thats really jacked up. i hope you can get your money back from post. i know at the shop on post where im at they make you sign a waiver saying they arent liable for anything stolen or broken while your vehicle is in there shop. good luck though. they should be very easy to spot though.

thats sucks but what in the hell were you thinking. id NEVER leave parts at the hobby shop. you should know that poeple on base steal more than off base and this goes for any place they have all kinds of break ins at are shop.
Ok cracked internal housing like my dud or blown headgasket,cracked block or head problems .
When turbo bearings go and let oil thru don't think they also let coolant into the oil.

Any updates..dont' suppose you recovered yours. So are you going to be ordering new ones again soon or trying a replacment for now?
I would be trying water lines not hooked up to make sure your oil stays clear and its not blown head gasket.
Anxiously awaiting for a few of you guys that did get the lgs to get them on and dyno and track their cars and for them to get some miles on the LGs.
