Default budget twin turbo 6.0 questions

i am new to the turbo scene and was wondering how two garrett tp-38 turbos off a ford powerstroke would work on a street 6.0 buildup. not looking to make the most power just something that makes good power and is fun to drive. any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

the twins will be going into a 66 chevy truck so everything will be custom. i have friends and fabricators that will help me do all the work. i was just wondering if the powerstoke turbos would work well with the 6.0 and how it would spool.

is your friend, a TT setup can be done on a buget, but it will take TIME, and lots of research, if im not mistaken, i believe ebay has a DECENT (so i've heard) SBC TT KIT...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...1171.....turbo wrapping and a lil fab work and it could be done, had a buddy who purchased the kit and just ran diff. turbos

The Powerstroke turbo is kinda crazy, oil feed and oil drain pedestal are on the same side. I would try for some Cummins turbos. A couple 56mm HX35's would make decent power and can be bought for pretty cheap.

These are 12cm hx35's...and they're going on this 346 this winter. Look into the HX40's or 16cm HX35's.

Holsets are bulletproof. They come on the Dodge cummins late 90's early 2000's motors. Many have their wastegates welded/wired closed to build as much boost as possible (40lbs+)in stock applications, and many go for 200k miles like this too. Trust me, i know, it sounds stupid, and i didn't believe it myself. i've ridden in a couple of these redneck rocketships and they move...

Tuners have been using the holset's for years and all knowledgeable guys will say the same thing..."they're bullet proof and they make great power"
