must have been a bad day to dyno lol....

his 4l80e died? i thought 4l80e were alot stronger? I beat this stock tranny to 6800 rpm for months with my cam only setup, then i beat the hell out of it with the sts setup for a few months to 6500 rpm, and now its just giving out on this setup....

so i must have had a pretty strong tranny to hold all the power for that much abuse for that long lmao!!!!!

Guys what about the L33 it is a 5.3 came in 05-07 short bed Silverado extened cab. They come with 799 heads (same as the 243 ZO6 heads). It is all aluminum and can be had for short $ I paid $750.00 with 29K miles with everything even the TCA and the computer. Stock is 320HP

Lighter and better heads. I am building a kit car and will be using this....now maybe with a turbo.

Running e85, put it on the dyno on Saturday, made 408rwhp on 5lbs and 557rwhp on 11lbs with 19 degrees timing. On 10 degrees timing it made 515rwhp. My rx7 went 144.7mph with this power.

My friends truck made 681/712 the way it is in the video. 5.3, Z06 cam, Patriot Dual springs, PI 5 disc 3400, 80e, 9.5" rear end, 35" tires, 20" wheels. That was at 19lbs. This pass was at 14lbs, any more and it would jump all over spinning all 4 tires on the launch. And of course its tuned by HellbentS10.

To make 800 with low IATs and low boost yes a PT88 would be ok ide think, I am thinking of using a GT4202 (74 MM) to make 700 at around 16-18 PSI with a Z06 Cam, good springs, possibly ported heads, arp rod bolts, mls hg's, and arp headstuds...

Flywheel or wheel horsepower?

That truck I posted was making well over 800 crank hp with a BW S468.

I think he was referring to wheel horsepower but it may have been flywheel...I am gunning for 700 wheel so in theory around 750-770 flywheel...

If your gunning for 700rwhp, depending on your setup.... that would put you near 900 flywheel hp
