Default help car wont start!!!! need help!!!

please help my car wont start i jut got done with the 347 t76 build and now its time to start and it wont start!!! it just keeps turning over its building a little bit of oil pressure and it would back fire ever so often.

my battery was dead so i was trying to start it off of a batt. charger in jump mode but i dont think thatd be the problem the car had plenty of juice

also it has a versa fueler and 96# injectors which i wish i never got but im stuck with them now it has a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator that i tried setting all over from 35 up to 50 it never helped seemed like it wanted to start with it higher like 45ish but still nothing i pulled a plug and it was dry as a bone

the fuel system is dual walbros aeromotive rails -8 feed -6 return and yes it has gas lol

right now its on a brief tune by nick williams just so i can get it checked for leaks and stuff before i go get it tuned but i cant check for leaks if i cant start it lol

please help any suggestions would be great

thanks!!

Do both pumps run all the time or just one and then the other is setup for WOT? You say that the cylinders are dry which sounds like you arent getting fuel out of the injectors.

yeah the other is on a 5psi hobbs switch. i believe im getting fuel but really have no way of telling. there is fuel pressure but the plugs are dry but i mean they shouldnt be soaked in gas tho right? thatd mean its getting to much fuel and it keeps poping i dont know if its a backfire or what it could be just be it trying to start i duno the exhaust is pretty short so it should be kind of loud

thanks guys!!

You should be able to at the very least smell fuel when you pull the plugs. Are you getting spark?

Correct me if i am wrong but low ind injectors only work with Stand alone Computer ie big stuff 3. You need high ind to run off oem ECU. you said you had low right? Do you have stock ECU?

No you can run them with your stock computer just need a converter box to go from high imp. To low imp. Which I have its a acceleronics versa fueler its getting juice and grounded correctly and the injectors are getting juice also so I guess they're firing I didn't really check the plugs for a fuel smell but the whole garage smelt slightly like fuel. Also all plugs are getting spark and I removed the charge pipe and gave it a little gas while trying to start it to let it breathe better since it is sd tuned it wants to start just aint.

I duno I'm so mad at it

Also Williams performance told me to leave the fuel at 35 psi since that was where nick tuned it at should I up it to 60 just to try it?

Thanks guys!

If you are using the stock fuel rail, there is a check valve on the driver's side end. It is like a tire valve and you can depress it after trying to start. You should get a squirt of gas when you press it in. The other thing is to check for any trouble codes. Do you have any data scan capability?
I am not sure of the procedure to check for spark with these coil packs. I always pulled a wire and stuck a spare plug in it and placed it close to some metal with distributor setups. When you crank it, you should get a good spark from plug to metal. But these are real basic compared to data scans. Good luck

Double check all your fuses and grounds. LS1 or LS2? What bar Map? What plugs/gap? Some of these sensors can be reversed or wires switched causing starting issues. Where are you getting the fuel pressures from? Make sure you don't have a kinked line or fitting popped off the pumps.

Sounds like youre getting spark and fuel. Does it throw any codes? If not replace youre starter relay on the fuse box. You should be able to swap the relay with 1 of your fan relays just to check it.

Ok I will try that tonight when I get home.

Stupid question but what would that do if its bad? It was working before I tore the car down for the build. I mean the car started and ran great its been down for about 4 months so its very possible.

Thanks!

Car will crank just not turn over just like what you were describing. Exactly what happened to me. May not be it but its a cheap test

What kind of harness did you use for the 3 bar? There was a guy not long ago that had 2 wires reversed on a 3 bar and it wouldn't start either.

If your plugs are dry as a bone, spray some starting fluid in the intake and see if it fires for a second. Good luck!
