Was the correction factor for the LS1 dyno also 1.23 like for the LT1?

I would love to see the dyno sheet for the LS1. Also could we ask for an Air to Air intercooler?

awesome idea. i am constantly thinking of a better way to make things work but it looks like you guys beat me to this one .anyway, i will definately be following this closely so heres a and a TTT for ya

edit: about the methanol injection, you say it reduces intake temps so where is it being injected? right after the turbo? i have heard of water/alcohol injection systems before but they are injected into the cylinders but i dont see how that would reduce intake temps. can anyone explain the concept to this simpleton?

Here is the dyno graph of stock LS1 vs STS

Here is the dyno graph of low boost vs high boost

Here is a dyno graph of just high boost

Also, I cannot tell which run had the A/F ratio heading close to 13:1 over 5k RPMs (the scan is difficult to discern between the two runs). It would make sense to me that it would be the 5 PSI run would be leaner with stock injectors and no added methanol; however, I just want to clarify.

Oh, and damn nice work.

I know you are making good power with the T60-1 turbo; however, I still believe that something in the T-76 range would be a much better compressor match for the LS1 flow requirements.

I know this might detract from the budget focus of your kit; however, I am curious about your thoughts on using a larger turbo. Would it perform well remotely mounted? Turbotech reaches 10 PSI by 3500 RPMs on their T-76 turbo kit. I am just trying to see something comparable would be possible in the remotely mounted location.

Tks

they have a generic calculator on thier site, it seems you would need some pretty high octane to run this kit at all considering our 10-1 compression stock

sweet!!! I'm really looking forward to this, amazing hp per doller ratio, can't wait till this kit comes out! I have about that much money to spend on mods this year, and that's even more power than i was looking for, even if these dyno's are slightly optimistic i'm getting one of these, as long as the quality is there.

one question with the methanol. Is it hard on the engine? wear and tear wise?

so you could run 8psi on 93octane and methanol with a stock (bolt-on) engine?

Tested the 99 LS1 prototype on 11/22/03 at Phantom Motorsports in SLC. Results were:

Stock this same car produced a best run of 320 rwhp on this same dyno.

5 psi run produced 416 rwhp and 452 rwtq

8 psi run with methanol injection produced 509 rwhp and 551 rwtq

These runs were on a completely stock LS1 with STS turbo system and no other modifications or tuning. Will have the dyno charts posted on the site soon.

Kits will be 3000 - 3500 $ I beleive
thats with stock injectors fuel pump also? i've always heard the stock fuel system would support ~450

Well that would explain my nitrous dyno ( dry ) It hit 440 rwhp 560 rwtq before I went lean and the computer took all my sparkies away

Stock fuel system and no tuning ,But tunning is advised (of coarse) over 5 psi! The methanol is not hard on the motor is not a strong mix 50/50 water methanol, Winshield washer fluid for your car will almost work thats a 70/30 mix 70/water and 30/methanol
(Big) 8psi is safe too run on the stock bolt on motor from what I have researched you can get away with 10psi on the stock motor just not sure for how long!!
O yah did you guys know that they are making this kit bolt up too your long tubes!!!!!!!!
