Question OKay I gotta ask the Magna Charger guys!

How long did it take for the shop, where you ordered your Maggie, to get an email back to you with reciept and tracking #. Maybe i am just being paranoid or something. The gentleman has not emailed me a reciept or a tracking # yet. (????) I ordered mine on July 29th.

Have you called the shop? Some things are as easy as a phone call. May be a mixup or something.

The Magnacharger boys are pretty good about giving a proposed ship date for a new charger. I did have a hell of a wait on my first charger due to hold ups at the polishing shop. 2nd and third chargers came just a few days after ordering. You should be able to find out an estimated shipping date.

Yes my card did get billed. I have sent him two emails asking him about a tentative ship date with no respose (??). I did call magnacharger (only to leave a message) to get a confirmation that this company DID AND IN FACT PLACE an order with them. I guess i will hurry up and wait

It took about a month to get mine in, but that was largely due to the fact that my kit was the first retail kit sold, and there were some logistical type issues that needed to be smoothed over, but I called the guy at least once a week for updates and to keep contact open.

Is this going on the car in your sig with the procharger on it? Are you ditching the procharger for the magna charger. If so I will be really interested in your opinion how 1 performs against the other.

Back to your original question. My dealings with the company I bought mine from was a nightmare. I'm not going to name them just yet because I am going to give them 1 final chance to make it right.

In the meantime, keep us posted on your progress. Good luck!

Thanks guys is it actually going on my old school SBC 355 (carbed). It should be a torqy beast. I have 4.10s in it right now with a 29" drag radial. so with the TH700r4 (low 1st gear) it may be tricky to get traction. I am seeing myself contemplating going with a bigger tire or going to 3.73s. this is a lowered 2WD 1974 Chevy Stepside and was the second vehicle i have ever owned. lots of great memories. cant wait to get it done (for the second time, lol!)

I talked to "David" 2 days ago and he said he would call me "soon" with a tracking # and ETA because it looked like it was going to be ready to be shipped out "soon". I figured "soon" would be within two days(?). Should i contest the charge on my bill if i havent got it by the time it comes to pay it?????? Awww this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've spent the past week wasting my time with Magnuson. David there was too busy most of the time and wouldn't return my calls. Tim in sales was nice but screwed up my order and I got the wrong parts (2 wrong parts) and I had to send them back. I'm assuming that I will just have to eat the shipping costs both ways. After I sent the wrong parts back, i was given a GM product number and told to source them locally. So I guess I just paid to ship a box from them to me and back again for fun. But no worries, I got nothing but money to burn.

EDIT: To the OP, i just noticed that you're local. Well close enough.
