Oh my god! That was my baby, I thought I had made that car badass but you really did it. Nice job! Definately put an auto in it, I wish I would have. Put some mickey thompson drag wheels on it too with slicks. Are you still running 4.30's in it or going with a higher gear?

Nice combo of parts, love to see what it runs at the track. Get an auto in there and depending on weight I would guess easy 9.50's, maybe lower if it is light and hooks.

I like the blacked out FAST and KAtech covers.

How are your temps with A/C? What about IATs on the street, I didn't see where you said you had a meth kit or not? What kind of fuel are you burning?

I never thought I would put an auto in this car but I'm swapping a built TH400 RMVB w/ transbrake right now (BTE 10" TC 4500 stall ). I had it on the track with some 28" m/t et drags the other day and it blew through the clutch no problem clutch isn't even worn or slipping 'yet' that spec 4 just can't hold it and I don't feel like nor can I afford re-building the t-56 all the time. Financially it made a lot more sense to forgo putting a high $ clutch in only to have to rebuild the tranny next week when it gives out. Also trying to get a quote on converting the 8pt cage to a 10pt.

Still has the 4.30 for now I'm trying to get some 3.55 in it ASAP.

Sadly this car since you were the owner became a DD for at least one guy. The underside of the car looks like *** from bottoming out and rain I'm sure you can imagine. I'm working on it though!

Thanks I should have some 1/8 times later this month at the very least.

I like the blacked out FAST and KAtech covers.
I'm not sure if caged02 did that or the guy after him it looks good though.

How are your temps with A/C? What about IATs on the street, I didn't see where you said you had a meth kit or not? What kind of fuel are you burning?
I drove it a few hot days in August and it gets hot 230 if I'm driving hard. I have never seen it overheat it always drops back down quickly if I get off the throttle. I haven't used much A/C but it seems to 5-10 hotter if it's on. I've only got a few street miles on this car but it's usually around 200-210 if it's <90 outside. IAT are about ambient just cruising 110-130 maybe 140 at WOT that was on a 95 degree day at 14.5psi don't have it logged at 16psi yet. No meth at the moment and 93 pump. I think 16psi is my barrier for that also the barrier for pushing water. I will add boost eventually but right now my first concerns are drivetrain, traction, passing tech, weight.

Agreed although the graph on here is at 14.5psi with signs of belt slip on the dyno sheet plus numerous other problems. I will have it on the dyno again in a few weeks but it will be through a TH400.

I can probably get more boost out of this blower it's 4" pulley now. It's going to be hard to control belt slip though. Meth too.

Yeah I had the valve covers powdercoated and the intake painted by a friend. They were so dirty looking when I got the car I couldn't stand it. Thats to bad you are having to do so much cleaning. I spent so much time cleaning the bottom side of that car. I wish you good luck with it and hope you enjoy it! By the way, that is a bolt in cage that was welded in by the previous owner ( welds look like my 5 year old did it ). At least its black now instead of an orange cage with the tan interior it used to have

Nice setup. While on the dyno you should do a run with no filter to see what the restriction is. I was tuning a customers 402ci with F1-C and it made around 14-15lbs with the filter setup then 19-20lbs open inlet Jumped up over 80rwhp.

on my 408 build, F1a, FMIC from EPP, we moved the valve to the passenger side to make claerence for the inlet hat.

Finally got the car home the other night, and then the power steering pump **** the bed...

Very nice laughatrice, I'm running almost the same set up but I have a LS2 block and F1. This combo make great torque.

You should call Dallas Performance. They have a "Big Mouth" ProCharger inlet they designed for my car. There was a 11% loss (90rwhp / 57rwtq) restriction on from the stock inlet compared to running open. Their kit drops the restriction to 3.5%.

I plan on doing a pull with no inlet although with any luck I will get good results w/ inlet. I agree with you guys though the inlet I was using that was custom brought the rwhp from 810 to 660 crazy! Anyway that inlet is gone and this new one is making good boost no dyno numbers though.

I just got my t56 on the ground. Got my TH400 and the converter ready to go waiting on the all the other crap for the install and should have that thing in this week.

Found something interesting when I was pulling the flywheel. On the back of the intake manifold the vaccum line for a/c or whatever was completely off. Unless it happened to come off while I was removing the tranny it most likely has been off for all my WOT runs probably got boosted off. It's a SD tune so mainly this should be affecting my max boost I assume. This answers a lot of questions I'm running a 4" pulley on an F1A and only making 16lbs we'll see what happens once I plug it up. Should have been making 16lbs on a 4.25" only made 14lbs with that.

So does that F1A setup use the original ATI blower brackets without modification? Where your best dyno numbers on 110 or C16 or something like that?

Yes I'm using the ATI brackets probably the same one they use for the d1 no modifications.

All dyno runs so far have been on pump 93.

93 pump that's very cool.... meth?

You'll want to swap out those 4.30's for 3.50 - 3.73's if you hit the track.

I did 680rwhp TH400 YSi 18 psi 9.40@143 back in 2005... Just as a comparo.

No meth yet probably in the future though.

I actually just pulled my 9" apart and I'm having a shop do the gears tomorrow probably going with a 3.50.

Hell if I run mid 9's first time at the 1/4 I'd be plenty happy at least the first time. Who knows when I'll get in on the 1/4 though definately and 1/8 slip pretty soon. My weight is still at least 3300lb's and with the cage I don't see it getting any lighter I'm starting reduction though.
