Wow you guys are getting just plain silly now. So you are going to buy the manifolds ,then what. You need to buy real 20gs, you need to fab up the exhaust housing, You need to fab up the downpipes..you think the downpipes are just whipped up by 5 year old kids? Do you know how tight clearances are in these f bodies??
So then you fab up all the other pipes, figure out where the got their intercooler...

Man you guys are getting stupid here. Just get ktyp or whoever to build you a twin kit pay the money and doubt it will be cheap or stick to singles which are simpler and cheaper since you dont' have two gates, two blow offs, two turbos, etc.

You are not going to copy this kit with mickey mouse backyard fabricating.. dream on.
It would take jigs and very precise measuring. You may think the entire kit is junk just thrown together but you are wrong. The turbos are knockoffs, the rest of the kit was pretty high workmanship and design.

And really I doubt any other turbos except mits 20gs are going to fit in the same location. There just isn't room.

We have seen other kits built by mostly forum members, tiago, etc. Copy their setups much easier than trying to copy the aps kit. But hey whatever floats your boat.
Just hope whoever is fabbing up these aps copycat kits don't go under on you while they are doing it.

Or really just buy a procharger or sts or tti or kytp single kit and call it a day.

i feel ya on this. its gonna take someone with money and someone that nos exactly what they are doing to pull this off.

back to the op, i think peter might have already talked to a lawyer and thats why he is staying out of this. im sure he told peter to stay out of this on lay low. i was reading about the Inall guy or w.e and i was pondering the idea that what if thats who peter really is? haha that would be some ****

Hey peter I hope you got a last good chuckle chuckle, giggle giggle, wokka wokka on screwing over pretty much all your customers, if you would have taken a stand for your company and just admitted incompitence for the failures and a fix for upcoming models I would have accepted the fact you were trying. I usually just stray away from threads like these but your arrogance towards customers and prudence showing your capacity to understand what you have done have forced me into spreading your failure to provide to your customers. When I had seen this system my jaw dropped and I started saving towards the kit. I am an avid follower of this website and always research before buying a product. I would have purchased this earlier just because it was one of a kind, but i'm convinced that you are a one of a kind douce who could care less about creating a "good" company. Its very sad to see companies take such a huge dive into a pile of SH&* such as 6-speed inc who have taken money and ran, as well as SLP for the G8 "Firehawk". In that note I have posted a tidbit to our neighboring communities.

When we casted the manifolds for the C5 (similar) the tooling and design was 20K. The manifold casting is 450.00 and the machining is 250.00

perhaps not fabricated by a 5 yr. old, but there are plenty of enthusiasts here who could fabricate/locate all the components needed, turbos included.
i for one could fabricate/locate all the rest of the components,
the cast manifolds would just make my job easier, cuts the step of fabricating headers. everything else is not rocket scienece. im sure more than 1 guy here can put it together going off just the cast manifolds, and in there backyard, garage, or driveway

its peter. with the responses he gave in this thread, i dont think they will ever make another kit for the gto or f body, they sell more vette kits than anyone else. i think if they where make any more kits and need a deposit, they would take the money and run.

and leave us with:

thanks for your money suckers!
cheers,

peter

This has become a pretty prominent topic over on the Corvette Forum now too, so I'd say that his days of selling Vette' kits are numbered too.

I think this would be the perfect time for ATI Procharger systems to possibly do a group purchase as I and many others have seriously narrowed down the list to more professional and superior companies
