Did mine myself just cut and rewelded took about 4hr. Don`t think there are any write ups or anything. I think smokinhawk has a few pics of it on his homepage though, try that.

thats what i heard also. i think its only 2" diameter though, might have to call and find out for sure.

I do have pics on my site, of the 2.5" X-over i had made at an exhaust shop.

I finally got the book maximum boost and was reading about all the exhaust and intercooler plumbing. One thing that caught my eye was with the intercooler plumbing on the t76 kits. According to the calculations in the book our 2.5in intercooler piping becomes a restriction at a little over 600cfm which is about 400hp, Damn my 2in that comes with the 60-1 is only good for 300hp. I`m gonna fab my own 2.5in pipe to the intercooler to replace the 2in that comes with the 60-1. I think that this would be a good mod for anyone that has the 60-1 we`ll see if it gains anything. Thought i`d throw this in here, Just a heads up.

not only the size would be a restriction, but the bends, and turns with it.
some time i plan on replacing my intercooler and routing the turbo outlet with short piping to the intercooler on the driver side, then up top it leaves the intercooler to the TB, using as short as tubing as posible, instead of going way over to the passenger side then coming out over the driver side, curling around then to the TB.

No problem silverchicken Just let me know when your ready. If you tell me what you want i could also fab it up on my car and just do the final fitment on your car.

69firebird, What year car do you have? I know after 98 they changed exhaust manifolds but I`m not sure if they still exit in the same location.
