Default Part number for my procharger belt

I bought a kit awhile back that was a p1sc. Has the sdce 8 rib upgrade. Well I sold the p1sc before ever putting it on and now have a d1sc. It's a 7.25 crank pulley and I just put a 4.5 pulley on the head unit. The belt that was included with the setup seems to be way to long. Even with the tensioner almost all the way down the belt still looks like it needs to go around something else. Anyways I know its routed right. Anyone tell me what belt I need? Thanks

Run a peice of masking tape along your belt path (minus tensioner), take it off and measure it, go to the parts store and get a belt to match your measurment.

you say that it the SDCE kit that has the idler and tensioner

I know my 7.25 crank and 4.0 blower pulley uses a belt that is I think 55 inches long or something like that and I think they use the same belt for the 4.25 not sure what size for the 4.5 though

well the p1sc the belt came with actually had a 3.40 pulley on it. I put a 4.5 on the d1 and used the same belt thinking that with a bigger pulley it would be smaller if anything

Well the sdce kit does route the belt differently than the stock procharger set up. Are you sure it is routed properly?

Well.... So if found the problem today. Knowing very little about the sdce upgrade and not being able to find a website (sdconcepts not sdce.com) I finally located it and found some pictures and talked to a couple of people there. I bought my kit from a sponsor on here used as a COMPLETE kit. Needless to say I'm missing the tensionr that goes on top of the j bracket. A pretty big piece of the kit imo. I was included instructions for procharger only and had no idea there was supposed to be a tensionor up there till I go and route the belt and have a mile extra and asked sdce why. Called the sponsor and since Ive had the kit for a few months (even though its never been hooked up) they arent willing to help since its been so long. If anyone happens to have a tensioner im in need. Let me know please. Now im gonna be out a 150 dollars for something that should have been included. Thanks alot!

I don't think you will find anyone that has the tensioner. Plus SDCE makes them specific to each kit so that the belts line up properly.

Yea I talked to them. They want me to send in everything I have. Or I can just buy one and hope for the best. Should be ok as long as I have the right shims in. Either way its money that's been spent once and I shouldn't have to be doing it again. Guess that's what I get for not knowing. Live and learn

You can get the SDCE tensioner at autozone part number 305201

Then you just need the bolt and a 6-rib idler pulley with no outer ribs

So its not a special tensioner? they want me to send everything in and have it all checked out because they said each tensioner is specificilly setup for each kit. Not saying thats a bad idea and I want this done right but are there people out there that have used the tensioner from the part store with no issues? Thanks for the info. by the way

I went and looked at one tonight up at autozone and it has a smooth pulley. Where to I get the ribbed pulley if I decide to go that route? They are basically wanting me to send it in and make sure I got the right shim packs and all. I think I do as I measured everything and according to the procharger manual in the 8 rib section I have the right amount.

Sooo... I have a little update. emailed sdce some pics of what I have and its looking like I wasnt even sent a modified sdce j bracket. It looks like a regular procharger bracket. Scott at sdce wants a couple more pics but the big thing giving it away is there is not a hole through the top for the tensioner to mount and the jack screw is still being used. Apparently the do away with that. So I notified the sponsor where I bought the kit. I know they have sold alot of kits and could have been sent on mistake. Hopefully I get some help with this.

Do you guys know what type of modyfing needs to be done to the Autozone tensioner to get it to work. I remember reading it wouldn't be a 100% bolt on..That something needs to be grinded off or something along those lines.
