Can an angular discharged vortech v1 be converted to straight discharge? Help!

Well, i want this blower bad guys, but its a angular discharge.
I NEED an straight discharge

That a conversion can be done.... but idk if the v1 has been superseded, parts discontinued... etc
Any help would be appreciated, as is the last day i can buy this blower

Just make sure to keep the heat down when welding - spot weld it first, then come back and fill in small areas at a time, with the volute (scroll) off the blower during the entire modification. Not a tough job for a competent shop.
