Mustang Blower on an LS1???
Do you think that the S Trim will work on my car? Or do you think it will be too much boost? What is a YS Trim?
Keep me posted on your GP.
Slow, I might ask you a favor, if you have a digicamera, maybe you can take some pics of the bracket and measure up some stuff for me...
At the very least, for us to run a Vortech we would need:
-blower/head unit
-brackets
-crank balancer/pulley
-blower pulley
-oil lines for cooling
-inlet/outlet piping
... And probably other stuff.
If anyone would be seriously interested in a YS, T, or S trim bracket let me know and I will see about getting a GP price but I will require a deposit to pay for the bracket materials. Bracket will include tensioner pulleys too.
Let me know what measurements you will need.
A friend has a A trim laying around from a stang, and from what i understand about the A to S trim conversion on a stang, its just unbolt A and bolt in S. So im assuming they are the same shape. I will do more research into this, and may try to bolt his A onto my car, to see how it fits.
Ryan.
I understand that vortech can change output piping for $260 and you have to send it to them.

Pro Stock John: I am going to look/buy the blower tomorrow so I am definitely interested in the brackets.

What part are you wanting me to ask about?
I am going to use a straight outlet YS trim.
My Stang friend said that most S-trims from Stands use that 90 degree bend.

Anybody know what kind of ET and HP I would expect out of this blower with a TR224/227 cam and Stage II heads???
And if it can be installed by an average joe, or is that one of the tight tollerence parts that vortech "really needs" to install.
you dont 'need' the straight to make it work, but if you look at the rest of the V9 G trim kit, thats how it works, so it would be the easiest solution, as shown in this pic.

So i dont think this will work, i'll still try to bolt the bracket i have to the A trim to find out, but after reading some of vortechs site, they comment on the V9 being a compact blower as well
