LMR Twin Turbo Camaro at 60-130mph Event 9/20/09
We took Kelly Bise's 02' Twin Turbo Camaro out to a local 60-130mph event on Sunday. This is the first time out with the car, and the results speak for themself. The best pass was a 4.24. Here are some vids, enjoy!

Record is held by a twin turbo gallardo with 2 shifts on street tires at a drag track
60-130mph 3.53 they call it Nera TT-R by underground racing
After that
3.91 th400 supra slick + drag track and then 3.97 tt viper DR,drag track,auto
supra and viper owner is the same guy Bob Helms

That looks almost as fun as drag racing.... If only they had a track to do it on.... uh.... wait..
What's the point of this again? Car above goes 0-150 about that quick.
N/A I go 97-127 in 3.9 seconds.
Looks like I go 110-140 in 3.48 seconds on hose.
Moran's car goes 200-250 in 2 seconds.

Same goes for the standing mile mostly street cars, some not, that barrel away just another performance measure to compare too.
Not everyone wants slicks, drag suspension, and stripped car to go run low 8's. Some people want quasi street cars with some amenities, that run 8's, and go 230mph+ in the standing mile.
Sort of like UFC and Boxing, IMO, you will see more mulit events with 60-130, 1/2 mile, 1 mile runs, but we'll see.

I guess 100-150mph is the real criteria for 600rwhp + street cars cause most of 600rwhp+ car can spin until 100mph easily
but after 100mph if you are still spining that means you have a problem with tire or suspansion setup selection like wrong tire wrong coilover etc
i can give a basic example for you from our custom tt c6 z06
at our 13.4psi pump gas shakedown run
100-200km/h (62-124mph) 4.89
60-130mph 5.49
100-150mph 4.82
and we were really slow from a tt gallardo(1040rwhp) which has a best time 4.65 60-130
but at the same time this gallardo has a 4.91 100-150mph time and don't forget any street race hardly ends at 130mph
