How much boost will FAST intakes handle?
No problems running 8 psi for 5000 miles .Its fast 90 not 92. I tapped and drilled hole on back and put fitting in for vacuum line and moved the map off it.
I loctitied the hardware. Made sure the gasket was in properly between the shells and put rtv in there.
I have seen guys run to 20psi on them. I am a bit afraid that my burst panels might burst prematurely .
I plan to take mine to likely 15 to 20psi max next season see how it works out.

It worked killer on mine at 16 psi. I removed all the gaskets inside and filled the channels with black rtv. I also threaded and plugged all the holes. I'm going to try to take it to 20.

Hey, thanks guys! I did try a search but the words "FAST" and "PSI" seem to come up in about every thread on here.... LOL! What is the difference you are referring to on the 90 vs 92? I thought it was just a larger mouth for sales purposes, like the 90 sales were down so they opened it up a little more to get back on the market.....
I have mine at 18psi and the occansional 20psi and holding up I just have the fast 90 intake and only thing we did was thread some of the holes so it didnt blow the lines out but never have taken it apart or anything just straight out of the box. I do have a ls6 intake I'm going to try it out pretty soon to see if there is any differnce just curious to see if the fast is leaking or not. But car runs great with the fast.
I think that the biggest concern with the FAST is that it will break/warp due to the pressure/heat and runner to runner contamination due to the intake growing and air getting between the layers. As for differences between the 90 and the 92, the newer 92 has a slightly larger TB opening, comes with better hardware and is made of a slightly harder plastic.

I blew mine at 16PSI but my car had a tendency to run hot and have quite a bit of crankcase pressure which heats up the bottom of the intake above the valley covers. That's where it cracked.
I'm going with a ported LS2 for replacement.
