If i knew then what I know now, Shawn, you guy's would of built me a LS2 block for myself. I could of save a bunch a weight. LOL!

I think you are looking at the residue from the race gas on the pistons.

I wonder how many passes it has been leaking. It looks like it was at least a couple.

All the white looking residue is from running leaded fuel. Not sure why it do's this but it look's the same as mine did after running leaded fuel as well.

I do all of my own block work and modifications.Got to pay for this 4 axis cnc somehow.

Shawn, what plans do you guys plan on making to his new setup? If you don't mind sharing?


Also, if you guys go to a bigger turbo, do you plan on upping the cubes? At what point are you worried @ spooling issues when class racing?


Currently getting my chassis done for a big turbo setup, but will prob just do a cheapy 346 setup till I get everything else done.

So with a good tune the ls2 should be safe at 1000rwhp where I want to be Thanks for footing the bill for that test Fireball!!!!

106?? be nice to see you guys pushing a LS2 block (ok one with a fair bit of work) to over 2000bhp!

might also make people think about the real need for the LSX block to......
