its only 20 bucks in materials...pretty easy too...

I welded two 1/4-20 weld nuts to the chassis on each side

I used 3/4" angle stock (aluminum or steel) and 3/4" flat stock to connect them (this is where I bolt them to the car). I mounted the coil packs with 1/4-20 nuts and bolts. I think I had to open up the hole on the coil pack a tiny bit to get the 1/4" bolt to fit through.

finished the other coil mount yesterday. Final mounted all the rear suspension. Also wetsanded and buffed one of the areas of the car that had some clear coat runs.

I have a few small projects that I can work on but I'm now pretty much in a holding pattern until I pick up the motor.

Ordered a Texas cool vest to wear under my -15 fire suit...it has phase change material thats supposed to stay at 65F for 1 1/2 hours...that should make wearing the suit moderately more comfortable I hope

we have a vest like that at my job, it helps lots. stays frozen for 2 hours and re-freezes in 15 minutes, some sort of weird water/saline solution. very wise choice, i think youll be impressed.

wearing a vest like that standing in front of a stack of steel pipe fittings with a combined weight of roughly 30,000 lbs that is currently 800 degrees Fahrenheit with the vest on youll feel about 15 degrees cooler. So with insulation on to keep the cool in, you should be in good shape.

If anyone is interested...I'll be selling the solid roller cam out of my 366 that went 7.99
The lift was a touch over .700 on both lobes I'll provide the full specs to whoever buys it

can spool a large turbo and VERY tight converter with relatively low compression (8.8:1)

worked on some little things today...

replaced my pilot chutes on both of my parachutes (they were a little tattered from use)
cleaned and mounted the remote oil filter housing
cleaned out the fuel filters and fuel pressure regulator
put the trans up under the car (alot easier to do with the motor out due the 25.x cage)
Ordered some new front coil springs from madman
Ordered my new fuel injectors...225lb/hr with the new atomizer technology

dude its worse here, there was ice on the overpass's and people were loosing their minds, there would have been less panic if aliens had landed downtown. Places that get snow maybe once a decade are like that.

No ****. Down here last thursday EVERYTHING shut down at 9:30pm. All highways blocked off. Most businesses closed early. All schools closed.

We got ZERO snow. Just some sleet.
