Default High Compression Turbo Cars and Timing...

For those you who run 9.0:1 K/R and up, how much timing and boost are you running with it. Forged short blocks ofcourse.

What kinda fuel do you run? Your pretty much the opposite of me, all timing and little boost. Do you adjust it ever after adding race gas and or meth?

WOWAre you running race gas? I keep mine at 12 degrees at 7.5 psi on the street. C.R. is 9.5-1.

Looks about right. You guys get some 100 octane at the pump, correct?

I ran about that much timing on 93 oct and 12:1 compression N/A. 8 PSI isn't that much and the compression has been lowered a bit.

Different combos can tolerate different amounts of timing. The vehicle weight, SCR, cam (DCR), gearing and exhaust all come into play.

Pump and Meth Tune... C/R is 9.7:1 with 12* timing and 14lbs does this sound about right? Or am I leaving power on the table? I'm running twin 57mm garretts on a forged short block with -13.7cc diamonds. Feel free to guess at my new numbers!

You may be only about 1* low but I would leave it there for a safe tune. you could try it, check you MPH at the track and if the difference is marginal, I would pull it back out...

First off I think turbo is alot different as far as timing vs boost and c/r. Further more I know I'm leaving alot of power on the table since I'm still running stock cam, but I'd like to make the most I can on boost and timing safely via 91 and meth. I'm suspicious that I have sum more power left untapped.

Get it on the dyno and make some logs or take it to a tuner.
