Thanks for the responses. I would love to run it but am unsure of the room i will have with the truck manifold kit. But i do have the Griffin radiator stood up.

Cooling issue fixed. I took one fan, turned it around and made it into a puller. It just barely fits between the filter and the radiator. Also I think I had a massive airpocket, I ended up putting a half gallon of water in it after a decent run.

Took her on her first real run around with lots of WOT, and I can already tell 6 psi isnt going to be enough! I definitely need some tuning, this thing is pig rich...

change the oil lol, you thinkin spring change or Digital Boost controler?

I do, I have a base tune from Frost to work off of also. Never done any tuning but theres a couple locals that are getting a business started. Thinking Ill give them a shot.

Lol, Im using the $10 a gallon oil from Walmart in an effort to get all the coolant and junk out of the oil pan from when I did my head swap. Got some royal purple but Im told its junk in these motors.

I have a dual stage boost controller. Thinking Ill leave one at spring, and the second one to 10 psi.

Tune is a bit rich, but when I actually ran some logs it wasnt bad at all. Need to get the idle a bit leaner though. I have solids up front and its causing my tranny to take some good vibrations, time to change out the tranny mount for a poly!

I love boost! I think I might hook up the boost controller and go for 10psi tomorrow. lol

That would be cool. I'm going to have to learn how to drive this thing out of the hole, though...M6 with 4.10s on shitty street tires is going to be challenging.

Ive been driving manual for ~1 month, so I think you got me beat there lol. Im going to be getting out of the hole very gently, your 4.10s + a blower are going to make a quick 1-2 shift.

Small update. Was doing some tuning, got about the 2nd round in and I got into traffic. I looked down and my temp was at 230. Immediately did a U and made it home before it got much hotter. I popped the hood and that AC line that loops around behind the radiator was caught between the fan and the filter, pressing hard enough to stop the fan from moving. In the process of fixing that I heard a hissing noise. Turns out I had managed to get a leak in the ac line going to the top of the condenser. Long story short, my car is now about 25lbs heavier. lol.

Aside from that, Ive been driving it daily for the past few days. The only issue being is its guzzling gas because I like to be in boost so much lol. Im going to either wire up a hobbs switch or just hook up the 2nd pump to run full time tomorrow. Im also going to setup my dual stage boost controller and see what 10 psi feels like.

Heading to the track on the 25th, I will report back with what I get!

I got most of the tuning done, Frost also sent me another tune that I have yet to put in. I get about 14.6 afr cruising around but my idle is at 12, which is killer. lol. Im gonna put in this new tune Frost sent tomorrow and it should be fixed.

Ill probably give you a call still though. haha

What does the AFR look like under boost? That's still as-shipped on the base unless you have touched it up.

I touched it up a little bit but not much. I have about 11.3-11.9 afr underboost. I havent really gotten alot of counts under boost so I cant give you a for sure on that. For a tune 4k miles away, its damn good.
