In another log its showing a little rich based on your commanded AFR, so Ill have to get some better logs tomorrow. How much in kPa does 1psi of boost amount to. I know anything above 105kpa is considered boost but on 1 log it has me hitting 125kPa so Im assuming 1 kpa doesnt equal 1 psi of boost.

yah, OLSD mail order turbo tunes; good times

I had a cammed Fast 92 M6 today. VE and MAF both tuned with a wideband with work on the street and dyno and I'm pretty sure that it took less time from start to finish than the base calibration for yours (which may have been done from my couch).

If you get any logs you can send them over. How much boost are you making when on the gate? I ask because the timing was quite conservative to make sure that everything was going to be safe...

HAHA, you did a great job though!

I dont have any really useful logs, I got a couple counts here and there but nothing consistent. Currently Im running 6psi on the gate but I have a dual stage boost controller I was going to install tomorrow. Planning on running 10psi with it. Im thinking of hooking up the dual stage boost controller and 2nd pump to the same switch. Im thinking that Ill never need the 2nd pump unless Im going above 6psi and vice versa.

Thanks for the table

I don't like waiting on the second pump. I use a Hobbs switch that switched at 1-2 PSI to make sure that the the pump is on in plenty of time, especially for an M6 car. Let me know what you end up doing via email and I will setup your timing tables accordingly.

I was planning on only activating the dual stage at the track or when I want to romp on it. There would be plenty of notice, I wouldnt be turning it on when Im holding at the wastegate springs 6psi. lol.

Ill email you tomorrow!

I have a log of some boost, I had an oil leak issue and when I saw smoke at a stop light I stopped running it hard. The log shows me hitting 155ish kpa, which is closer to 8psi of boost, so maybe I got the wrong spring in the wastegate. If Im really running 8psi, I suppose I dont really need a boost controller :p

Getting the car ready for the dyno! Ive had a new clutch waiting in the garage and Im looking for an excuse to put it on. Ive started collecting parts for the swap also.

I think Im going to turn the timing to 15* advanced (currently Im at 9) and see if this stock clutch will hold!

It was low initially to make sure you didn't have any run-away boost problems.

Send me an email with details (how many PSI you see and current WOT AFR) and I will send you an update. If you have logs with AFR in them, that's even better.

Ya the low timing off the bat was definitely a good idea. I can be a bit eccentric at times. I sent you an email 3 days ago(junk folder maybe? lol) with some details with what I have and what I was looking to do. I dont have a ton of logs atm, its very hard to find roads around here that I can sit in boost in for long periods of time.

Im at 8psi, currently Im at 11.5-11.7, very consistently, at any point in boost. Im going to be hooking up the boost controller for 10 psi on friday though. Not in a big rush though, take your time!

If Im taking my clutch out, Im going to throw everything I can at it! lol

Give me a shout and head out to ER if you need to get some good logs. That's where I did all of mine when I was emailing them to Steve. There's some good stretches where you should be able to pull through 4th gear safely.

And let me know when you're looking at doing that clutch...I'd like to come by and help out if I can.

Theres alot of you guys out in Eagle River, doing all sorts of ****. I havent seen the vette in person but its still a work in progress too.

I just saw his twin kit for sale. Those turbos are tiny, but would be good for stock cubes. You should buy it. lol

Im going to be picking up a crossover pipe and truck manifolds soon....

Im officially kicking the ebay kit to the curb. Got a good deal on some manifolds and a crossover ~375 for the whole thing. Just need to build a downpipe which I think I can do with some of the ebay kit parts!
