Don't waste your money coating. Just wrap it and it will be fine. Besides if it developes a crack you are going to have to destroy the ceramic coating to repair it. It will develope a crack if you dont brace your turbo!!!!

Wrap..wrap..wrap. It'll take a little time but well worth it. It'll keep almost all of the heat in the pipes and drastically lower your underhood temps. Also keep in mind that you want absolutely no oil or whatnot to come into contact with the wrap. It makes for a nice fire...trust me on that one. A turbo brace is a good idea, once those exhaust pipes get super hot, they'll tend to get weaker.

So, this kit is starting to **** me off. Mainly the downpipe. Its touching the boot on the steering and I cant figure out a way to pull it away due to the lack of space available. And I dont want to leave it that close due to heat. Can someone with this kit help me out and tell me what all you had to do to make this work. Im really wishing I had gone KYTP.

Lol oh ****! I lost your number and there was definitely a couple times where some more hands wouldve been nice. PM me your number again, if nothing else I could always use another set of eyes to tell me if they see anything amiss.

KYTP = kentucky turbo. I ended up denting the downpipe as well as the collector a bit. Also going with solid mounts wouldve probably saved me from denting anything.

Ya I just went with solids a few days ago, the original issue with the DP was a month or 2 ago.
They make an entirely different kit, that I would have probably gone with instead of the ebay setup. Its not as cheap but for alot of people its worth it not to deal with all the bullshit.

I guess as long as you keep the tools warm you should be good to go, lol. I was in Russia for a winter, that was enough!!!
