What I did with the K&N, and the same should be able to be done with the Spectre:
- I cut a piece of 3.5" aluminum pipe about 2.5 - 3" long.
- Clamped the filter to half of thatpipe.
- Other side of the pipe I clamped 8" or 9" of wire reinforced flexible tubing. I got it from my local hydraulic supply shop on the cheap. If you don't have this get some or you'll need to find something to make the slight drop from above the intercooler to the hat.
- Other end of the duct clamped to the inlet hat.
This allowed the filter to sit in the fender well on the other side of the pipe that goes up from the IC to the engine bay. You have to lower the intercooler to get the filter up there then put the intercooler back up in place, it is a tight fit.
I don't know if I trimed by flexible duct too much for use on the twins anymore or not, I'm no longer using it when I swapped out the standard hat for the truck hat. The boost gauge says I didn't pick anything up from the swap, but then I'm not maxing out my blower either. Anyway mine is cut down to 7-7.5", you're welcome to it and the metal coupler if you'd like, but like I said it might be a tad short now.
I swapped out the standard hat for the truck hat. .
Will the truck hat fit a 2000 TA with the D-1SC ? I think EPP told me it would not fit with my twin coolers.

Is that small pulley a custom one off or available somewhere?
I won't post up drawings for my bracket components, I hope you can understand why.

7.65/4.25/2.5/3.0/42.93/229°/272° <--(this belt length verifies my CAD file is pretty damn close- reference my original measurement was 42.75-43.125 with a tape measure- this falls smack dab in the middle of those measurements)

Again, remember that the stock procharger idler is 2.5", and the stock accessory idler is 3.0. Hope these results help for some of you guys. If anyone wants me to put in any more pulley sizes, let me know and I'll get them for ya.
I'm sending my standoff to my machine shop but can't fiqure how
you came up with the 75mm length?
The longest version is 2.75" for the M6's which I have.
There was also a 2.65" for the autos with the Cooler line bracket mounted.
And the 2.5" or 2.4" for 6 Rib setups.

I have been dealing with this machinest for years through my work.
He does great work at a fair price but may take a little time to get them.
He said he can get 1018 steel or the original aluminum in hex or rolled in 3/4"
for around the same price but he has rolled in stock.
So I am trying to get him to mill mine down and also make a sample piece
out of the rolled and just mill 2 slots so you can use a wrench on it.
I will let you guys know how it goes and what price he come up with
if its ok with chevychad. I dont want to step on any toes.

*dang, cant get the direct link to work. Click on the link above, then click "Belts", and on the next page, click "Micro-V® AT® Belts". Then, type the size in the search field you are looking for. For example, to find all the 42.X" belts, type "K08042*"
Also, make sure to click on the part number of the belt you are looking at to verify the effective length. Sometimes it is slightly different than the part number would suggest. For example, the effective length of a K080427 is not a 42.7" as you'd think, its really 42.87".
And incase you cant find something close there, also check out the goodyear gatorback belts here:

*make sure you are looking at the effective length of the belt here as well.
Chevy Chad - did you find a 3" idler worked better or the 2-1/2"? I have the procharger 6 rib idler...which is just wide enough for an 8 rib belt...but I don't know if it needs to be a little wider than the belt or not??? Also...it is 2-1/2" diameter on the largest OD of the pulley (raised ridges on pulley - not the actual surface the belt rides on) is this correct?
As for the dimension of the OD, yes, you're correct- you should be measuring the surface that the belt will be riding on, not the top part of the ridges. You can use the 2.5" chart for your belt guide though, it should be very close. I doubt you're gonna find a belt that is exactly what you are looking for anyways, so just use this to get close estimate. You will have a little adjustability in the tensioner, but not as much as before the extra idler. Good luck with everything man
