I'm having a machinist friend make me all new standoffs. The aluminum ones were getting kinda wore anyways. I'm gonna try a twin bearing idler. I spoke with Bob at brute speed about the cog setup and found procharger felt it would destroy the D1 over time. I'm guessing the F1's and larger blowers have larger gears to handle the cogs.

Is your car auto or manual? Street or strip driven?

Machinist is back from vacation, he wants to open up the hole more on the bracket itself and then machine one layer into standoff instead of two. Then use a combination of washers to space pulley out from bracket, Is this OK?

Measure the pulley you plan on using and then do whatever works best for you

The factory idler will work, I used it for quite a while without any problem. Just make sure you space it to be centered with the belt and you will be ok.

I would think a stainless steel version would be best. The dimensions for the machining are in the first post. The material itself is 19mm hex with a 10 x 1.5 thread tapped all the way thru. The total length of the standoff is different between the 6 rib and 8 rib setups. I cant remember the exact length, but I know someone posted both total lengths somewhere in this thread.

I am def. interested. Can you give us an estimate on pricing. I am sure it will be based off of quantity.

Unicorp sells for cheap, you need 4 versions (steel or aluminum)(6-rib or 8-rib).

sorry did read above

Here you go, looks like 2.5" for 6-rib and 2.75" for 8-rib
I was going to buy this for my machinist to work. I think procharger choose hex shaped standoffs for easy of installation

8-rib - P2073
6-rib - P2057
How fast can Motovative make these, I need asap

We can get these machined fairly quickly if there is enough interest. Stainless will obviously be more expensive than aluminum. Let me start putting some number together

Unicorp sells just the hex standoffs with threads right? They dont do any of the machining for the pulley. What is their pricing on the standoffs alone?

Well thats about as low as pricing can get on something like this. In steel, we wouldn't be able to get close to that price as its must harder on tools while machining.

We would have to make it worth our while, just like any other business.
