Poor man's method to better belt wrap on an fbody
im deff interested if its cheap enough, i know you guys need to make $ off this but hopefully not a 600% mark-up ya know. Id want it in aluminum and for a 8-rib set-up (dont know if the 6 and 8 ribs are different).
just some more pics sorry about the size. I used a steel procharger bracket not the aluminum from ATI. Im going to look for a small spacer so I can reduce the amount of washers under the pulley but pulley spins freely

oh ok, now i see what you did.. In the last post, this picture made it look as if the hole was all the way thru the bracket. Your latest closeups of the hole show that it is not bored all the way thru. I still cant figure out why that first pic of the hole looks different from the rest of the pics you posted just now.
You should be ok with that, just as long as you account for the extra spacing away from the engine where it bolts on.

That second step in the standoff was not designed to fit into the J-bracket, so his statement of doing that *instead* of cutting 2 steps in the standoff does not make sense at all. I dont think your machinist understood that the second step was just to accommodate a standard off the shelf at Lowes washer (see this post). But hey, there are several ways to skin this cat.. As long as the extra pulley is there, you will benefit from extra belt wrap and decreased belt slip.

He was going to find a regular washer and modify to correct size but he had some other type of washer as seen in the pic, i'm guessing he used whatever he had laying around, plus he didnt charge me. I used the factory idler pulley but I think I should have bought another 8-rib procharger idler. The factory idler is about half the size of procharger idler.

Welp, you can always get the procharger 8 rib idler at any time. It has the same ID as the stock pulley, so your standoff will work with either.
Ok guys, If we do a production run of 20 of each of the two lengths 2.5" and 2.75", we can get them to you for 29.50 each.
