If you have to ask, you probably have a long way to go. I hope you have an expert mechanic/engine tuner and unlimited financial resources.
We have over twenty forced induction cars ready to serve up 8's, 9's, 10's, and 11's.
And that doesn't even include the nitrous cars on this board.

yeah my friend just bought the ls1 motorsports camaro and we were just driving it all over the street with big smiles on our faces. We have some plans for that car also that we will get ready over winter and bring out next year that will some close to 8.9s times

I drive my car about 200miles per week, It is a fun car, not my everything car tho. It is street driven more then raced, still has everything in it power,ac,heat,all the options.
Ive gone a best of 10.6 @ 132(looking for 9's next spring at my close to currint weight)
And im far from the fastest LS1!!!

Have you ever seen those outlaw street cars race? Those things are nuts. I don't think they drive them to work though. I have another car that I mostly drive to work (My baby Ram Air, Grand Am GT) but The TA is still a pure street car. You will have to clearly define what you mean by street driven.
