Default New best 9.133@154.97!!!

Gotta new best today guys, if it would of sixty footed it would of been in the eights. The next pass I tried to leave some RPM and it blew off the slicks.

This is a full weight C5 Z06-no gutting, AC, stock seats, brakes, etc, etc, car weighs over 3500lbs. I put on at least 250-300 miles a week when i'm driving back and forth to Champion on the weekends.

Rob from Champion ran a 9.7@157 with his TTix equiped 427 rowing a six speed-his car is alos a full street car.

I think I have to screw my slicks to my rims or something-since the QA1's in the rear my 60fts have kept climbing.

Here is the slip:

Add the weight of a supercharger, piping and intercooler and a built motor. It all adds up

And the auto, stall, diff brace, larger rad, tranny cooler, cooler fans, meth pump, aftermarket exhaust besides the Ti's and my 240 or 250lbs depending on how many burgers, pizza and donuts I ate tuning on Saturday.

Congrats Arun.

Whats your thoughts on the YSI after fooling with it for a while? Which YSI are you using?

Thanks kp!

I really like the YSi, it won't make the power of a F1R but it's alot quieter and easier to turn. Only problem is, you can only go so small on the blower pulley with the 3.45 stepup.

I'm using the V7 Ysi which has a 3.45 stepup, the V27 has the 4.21 stepup and the gear case is super heavy duty!

Yea, the 3.45 is a little rough with a serpentine drive unless you have a huge crank pulley.

All you need is a tenth or so off that 60 foot and you should be in the 8s pretty easy.
