what rings? stock ls1 7-9psi doing a turbo on my stock ls1. going to be changing out the rings and doing arp rod bolts. ive been doing some research and cant figure out which rings to get...i have a mechanic that can hone the block. ill be running 7-9 psi and aiming for 550-600 rwhp. any suggestions would be great.

Are you planning on running the stock pistons? I think pretty much any ring will hold that kind of boost and will be stronger than the stock pistons. I am sure some other people that have been in their block will chime in but if your thinking stock pistons you might just want to wait till you can get a new set of stock diameter forged units as the ring lands on the stockers usually let go before the rings give up.

well i was runnning some spray and think i may have smoked some rings. when i go wot sometimes it blows smoke. so i figured i would change the rings to help fix and prevent further issues.
